In one of my many recent falls, I managed to rip of a strap on my backpack. My wife bought this for my birthday.
After a month, of a lope side backpack, I sent a email of to ZAC speed:->

> Thanks, Ross .Hi Ross,
Yes we will try to help you out the best way possible. We do not sell the strap
as a spare part so to speak, however I will be able to get something together
for you. I assume that you just want to restitch a replacement strap where the
existing one was? If you could send me a photo this would also help sort
something out for you.Kind Regards,
ShaunAnyway after a couple more emails and photo’s, the strap arrived to day, no charge.
So I am very impressed with ZAC speed and Shaun, who I will probably never meet, for his time and trouble. Thanks Shaun. The Backpack is great too!Ross
October 28, 2009 at 7:56 am #158405Champo has one and it has stood up alright, I have always wondered Ross does it pull the front of the armour up under your chin sort of thing because of the weight of the water bladder and etc

October 28, 2009 at 8:08 am #158409Mine does if the side straps aren’t tight enough which they often aren’t because the strap slips through the plastic buckle and tends to come loose during a ride. I have taken to using electrical tape to stop them from loosening but still have to re-adjust them from time to time which pisses me off considering the cost.
October 28, 2009 at 8:12 am #158414I didnt mean anything bad by that champo just things like getting jousted of your bike by a pine tree I call a decent stack
Sorry you are the only person with one and you have had it a while and a stack or two and its still working ok

The topic of the thread is the after sales service which seems great Ross, and its a good thing that you pass that on because as people I think we concentrate on the negatives to often

October 28, 2009 at 9:12 am #158419Can’t remember the price exactly but it was around the $350 mark. I am not saying they are no good, it’s just a bit annoying some times.

October 28, 2009 at 10:44 am #158427I have one of these to and i think there FANTASTIC my straps never lossen and to my surprise you don’t really feel any extra weight on your back and with all the extra little pockets through it is handy to.
I pull the armour off the front and use it as a back pack when on the road to work or some thing

That’s the go they look like a good thing, just wondered about the riding up, sadly I like the extra protection of a pressure suit as I do have the odd stack

October 28, 2009 at 7:40 pm #158406Good to hear Ross wondered what to do if mine busts something.
Was looking at the Zac website last year just before xmas,as i read they where developing a pressure suit attachment/upgrade, any way i saw this online feedback thing and filled it in gave them a big wrap as mines been hammered and still perfect. Get an email thanking me for the time and theyll send me a gift for xmas…..now im thinking a sticker etc a week later a pair of ZAC goggles are dropped off by a courier.
How good is ZAC free stuff and top customer service.

Never had a problem with it coming up under my chin T.B.
If she spent $350 on me for my birthday, maybe she does like me  Certainly doesn’t act like it.October 29, 2009 at 5:34 am #158512ross wrote:
