Must have been somewhere in the high 30’s yesterday and a bloody horrible day for the dam too!
Domino’s, Dropbear and myself had a sluggish start to the morning, somewhere around 9am ish but the weather was bloody good so there was no need to hurry.
The last few weekends we’ve taken the boat out have been a little slim on photo’s so I threw my camera in just to see what would come.

We’d been talking about a few different setups and bench racing about going back to some basics for something different over a beer or five last weekend so it was good to be out with just the three of us, althought an extra body would have added a bit longer recovery time in……
But some blokes are just hard to get off the nest…..

Since the weather warmed up the poor old dam has been copping it left right and centre. I reckon close to half of the boat owners in SE Qld must have been trying to get their boats in the water, All at 8.30am on the knocker!

By the time the Bear and Domino’s turned up, about 15 minutes later the rush had steadied to a trickle and we were off!

You better believe it was terrible….

Domino’s floating around on the Kneeboard…That bloody Kneeboard….
    IMG_0001.jpg

    Domino’s up and away!

    IMG_0008.jpg
Showing us how it’s done with some 360’s and a jump over the wake! 😯

Then it was my go, after a warm up on the wakeboard I had to have a run on the bloody Kneeboard. Well my sorry ass got dragged all over the dam, under the dam and generally without too much success…

So it was time to fiddle with the strap that must have been holding me back surely??

So onto the back of the boat to sort it out. With a quick chat about starting in the water strapped in rather that lying on it then jumping up to your knees…I was told if I could I’d be the man….
You know the story about the red rag to a bull??

Well that wasn’t me, more like a turtle stuck on it back!

    Strapped in…

We have launch..Or was that to much lunch?
    IMG_0033.jpg
    IMG_0034.jpg
    IMG_0035.jpg

I finally got a feel for it and had a blast….Think there was 43Mph in there somewhere too!

Was the bears turn next so he likes a bit of wakeboard action, just takes some convincing to get going….
    IMG_0038.jpg

The bears feet and the board bindings are like 3 foot stump and a garden variety mulcher….It doesn’t matter how hard you try that 3′ stump ain’t going in that mulcher!

Na they do fit it just takes lots of lube and presure!
So it wasn’t half funny when he fell back into the boat!

    IMG_0021.jpg

    See made it…
    IMG_0027.jpg

So we wait till he’s float one direction the go and pull him in the totally wrong direction! We don’t mean it but the bear ends up doing lots of these ones……

    Nice pics Teflon.

Gota love this time of year for skiing. Me and a few mates are off to the Hawkesbury for a week of skiing and drinking. The bridge to bridge ski race is on Sunday. We camp on a big straight and the boats and skiers go past at over 100mph.

I like the attempted deep water start on the knee board.

Well that looks like a fund day. Especially given how hot it was. I’ve never tried waterskiing/knee boarding or wakeboarding. It looks pretty tricky!

Sitting here cooking in the heat that looks like a good time B) . I would guess looking at the high rope you blokes are possibly in a Malibu or something like? I have never tried a wakeboard but could be good value with some practise. Looking at the banks it still looks half green down there. Moto its not too bad I am a big un-co (as your Uncle Mike will testify  ) and I can ski  . Will be down there for a ride on the weekend, maybe I can talk the lads into a ski as well ;) .

Bloody oath it would have been good yesterday too it was up around 39 in the shade here. We’ve had just enough in drizzle and storms over the last few weeks to green it up but not enough to make it muddy!
The boat is a Probe 17′ with a 350 chev with a pole. Great boat for us as we do heaps of buggering around and it does everything we want from tubing, skiing and wakeboarding! We’re all pretty unco but we’re just out for a laugh or two. :woohoo:

This was before easter last year….
4 biscuits 5 blokes was always going to be good for a laugh! :S :woohoo:
