    Keen for a road run up to Cowan for some good pies and coffee?

    This ride is suitable for motard, dual sport and road bikes and may be postponed if weather is bad or presents risk.
    Date: Saturday 23/1/2010
    Grade: easy, it’s a road ride, hardest part is staying under the speed limit.

    We will start at my place or meet at X (TBA), follow The Ridgeway to the old Hwy, through West Gosford, Kariong, Mt White and Hawksbury River to the Pie in the Sky (click for map), sweet new road surface and 80Km/h limit there.
    Then on to Berowra for fuel and back via a different and very fun route.

    If you can do 100Km on a tank, no worries, as long as you start with a full tank.

    Anyone who likes a good pie and coffee should meet us there if they cant do the ride, friends, family and significant others all welcome. ETA at the pie shop will be about 11:30am.

    Yeah mate, was into road bikes a while back and Salina and I have been there on the NX a few times.

    Did you know the road warrior cafe is back open?

    Hi Wikd, I would have love to come on this one with you however unfortunately it is our daughter’s birthday and we are having a party for her so I can’t come (why does everyone organise rides on our kids birthdays?).

    Anyway aside from that I am keen to do a ride but I am more looking at after Xmas or in the first couple of weeks of January. DanD and I are on holidays then so we will both be keen for some road rides then.

    OK I have changed the date to Thur 7-1-2010 (I forgot I am on holidays all of Jan.)

    I thought I would pick a bad date so I made it adjustable :)

    You’ve done good Wikd. The 8th may of been out for me but the 7th is perfect. Put both me and DanD down for this ride (as long as TB lets DanD ride the NX ;) ).

    You have got it so wrong TB. My nuts are secure in the leather pouch that Kylie has around her neck. I just think that it would be wrong on my behalf to ride your pride and joy while you are layed up. It is almost as bad as riding someones missus while they are at work. I could not do that to you mate.

    On top of the above I just don’t feel comfortable riding your bike when your not around ;)
