November 22, 2009 at 7:30 am #162266You really had to be there, to appreciate what Moto did today considering the temperature,an awesome effort for a POM.
November 22, 2009 at 7:46 am #162268From the other thread
well boys I must say we have to be very aware of a lurking sleeper, Man you guys should have seen Moto, He blew me away, He got a podium and I will leave it up to him to tell how it felt, I was very worried about him on the last two laps he was not with us,and his eyes were glazed over, I was worried about heat stroke , but let me tell you he did the deal today, he did the deal, I loved his hole shot it was choice(it was the way I was holding it for him) , I am just back from the track and am dirty and hungry, I will do a full detailed report in a couple of hours, I need to unpack and decamp ,
Almost forgot the compulsory tease…….. Moto you are the most stubborn pommy git I know and I still think TB would have whipped your butt one armed and limited to 1 gear, 4th

AnonymousWell I made it home guys and what a day! I’m sat at home and it’s still bloody hot. It hit 42 degrees on the way home at 5:40pm, what the hell is going on?
It was a great day despite the heat and the Old Bulls stuck in there and got some good results, that’s how trail riders do it hey?
I’ll do a proper report but I’m later as I’m going to have a few glasses of wine now to soothe my aching back

Your only upset Dave because I beat you to it.
And has I said on the other thread Jamie’s top effort for her 1st time & one of only 2 girls riding in her class
November 22, 2009 at 9:18 am #162278Today was without a doubt one of the hottest days on a bike I have ever experienced. After the sighting lap, and a couple of wrong turns, I though I was about to loose my breaky.
I’ll try and remember more later, but I too just wanted to say what a great day it was and what a great job Moto did. Iron man in 40 degree heat and a second to boot
