I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to the OB team for all there effort with the site. It is great to have a site full of like minded people to share with.
To all admin and all old bulls in general, Have a great Christmas and New Year.
Although I have only met a couple of you, i feel as though I know a lot of you. I am looking forward to meeting and riding with some/alot of you next year.
I have really enjoyed the site and the fun that you all make it, a really great bunch of people whom I feel i would like to get together with and enjoy lifes little pleasures.
If any of you are ever down my neck of the woods “Gods country” 😆 look me up, I would be more than happy to show you around, ride, have a beer, or meet up.
To all the sponsors, thanks for the deals, much appreciated
Cheers and all the best, stay safe
HattoDecember 21, 2009 at 10:47 pm #166004Great post there Hatto, the OBT community is a great group of people, what you did for me with my boat motor is testement to that!! You didn’t know me at all and you went out of your way to help. For that I am grateful and I am looking forward to the day I can do something for you in return.
Cheers and thanks for keeping the OBT spirit a happening thing!!December 21, 2009 at 10:54 pm #166020What Hatto said x2
Merry christmas to all Old Bulls and their families and friends.
Stay well and safe Compadre’s and remember, 500 grams of pork crackling = 2 kilos next day.
5 stubbies in an hour does not make you king of the world, and no you cannot ride the kids MXer while “happy”, although it will make for good memories for the kids.

AnonymousTB does most of the hard work in getting the sponsors, making all the calls he does and the general running around. Also Chris does all the hard technical work keeping the site running.
Me, Mick and Menace help where we can with bits and bobs but I couldn’t read your gracious thanks without highlighting the fact the 2 site owners do most of the hard work

This may be true Moto, but I have a thing, that you are only as good as the weakest link, so you all can hold your heads high – not a weak link amongst you
hattoDecember 22, 2009 at 12:25 am #166033Good onya Hatto, well said mate, The forum has a lot of real good people onboard from a very diverse back ground. I joined OBT so I could get out and ride new area’s meet new people and generally have a good time. OBT has done this for me, I have noticed many people have helped others out when they think they can and offered support and well wishes. Thats the difference with this forum compared to some others. You only getback what you are prepared to put in. I look forward to hooking up with you for a ride down Nowra way in the new year.
Cheers mate
Thanks to TB and Chris and the Moderators a lot of behind the scenes work going on there.
And every one on OBT have a great Christmas and New Year and I look forward to having a beer and a ride in the future with you, as I consider all of you friends
Regards Ollie

OBT changed my life :woohoo:
December 22, 2009 at 12:43 am #166042Big thanks to the owners, admin and all of the old bulls that have contributed to such a great year of riding, assistance and mateship. I’ve seen first hand a huge amount of great character from some of you and it’s a great feeling, probably something like the feeling murph had last night :p
I reckon the donations thread should be bumped in the new year or even earlier while we’re all in the generous spirit though I’m sure most of us are broke!

AnonymousOBT is a great thing.

with the OBT crew.

Looking back over the year we southeners have had some great rides including the high country, Paddys, Wombat and Glenmaggie and now that we have more members down here i see 2010 being even bigger and better.
Merry Chrismas to all and have a safe one.

December 22, 2009 at 11:20 am #166093I would like to take this opportunity to say merry christmas to all Old Bull members and thanks to admin. But im a bit concerned about the axing of the Squirrel
All the best for the holidays and dont drink to much or at least not as much as me :silly:
December 22, 2009 at 11:38 am #166094TB’s Heart Felt Thanks
I would like to thank everyone that has helped me throughout 2009, on a personal level I finally over came a massive hurtle this year with help from a close friend, without whom I would still be struggling, cheers mate you know who you are. To all of my closet friends here, thanks for everything you do for me and my family.
I would like to thank Chris, Chris always amazes me when it comes to the technical side of the web site and anything to do with a computer or technology. Chris also keeps all the computers here at home running for me and trust me I go through a laptop or three this year. Chris doesnt always appear to be here but he is never far away, cheers mate it wouldn’t be here without you.
To the Admin team,
Mick who helps write / co write 90% of our news letters, helps write the sponsors proposals, helps with anything on the north coast, accommodates me at Wauchope, looks after my bikes, chases stuff up and generally takes a good flogging every now and then cheers mate you are a legend.
Moto, someone whose opinion I seek from time to time on a wide range of issues, someone who is always thinking about OBT and a moderator that puts it out there without fear, a drinker without fear of the next days ride, a maintance king, a fierce competitor on or of the bike or with or without knowledge, thanks my pommy mate you have been a find for sure I need to get to the bay and have some beers with you soon.
Menace, Jesus what can be said here, ha STOP BRINGING FLOWERS EVERYTIME YOU COME TO MY BLOODY PLACE !! You and Sammy are always welcome here. Menace armed me with the lesson for 2009 that I will carry forward forever here and that was “Never say something here on the site that you wouldn’t say face to face at the pub for fear of getting punched in the face”
I look at Menace and realise that a face like that must have learned that lesson the hard way ha ha ha ha. Cheers mate your welcome at home anytime.Dan for not only building the sponsor clocks but helping me run rides and all the other things you and Kylie do helping here. Also for providing me with somewhere to stay and run the rides from. Kylie for jump starting the Motard craze as well as cooking advice, removing splitters, sticking it up the guys, helping admin, riding like a pro and many other things she strives to perfect herself at.
I am sitting here thinking about all the people I have meet this year and all those I haven’t that I feel like I have, the personalities, the characters etc its mind boggling what we have here at OBT. I would like to write about so many people that help us here but I cant, I hope I show everyone that I appreciate their efforts throughout the year.
Everybody here makes OBT what it is and I do mean everybody. The network that is OBT is something that I feel is exclusive to OBT as far as web sites go and that’s not a program or a software thing that’s all you fantastic people.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible supporters / site sponsors in no particular order : Jack links Beef Jerky, Pivot Pegz, Battyes Bikes, Sutto’s, Muc-Off, 4BP, Mud and Tar, Tee n Cee signs and our latest Teknik Motorsport. Without these supporters OBT wouldn’t be here and remain a free site.
2010 will see a new suspension forum where you will be able to get help and advice from Nick and Brad at Tekniks, a OBT team at the A4DE, an OBT team at the Condo 750 and Yellow Mountain. We hope to run our first charity ride and many other rides and social events
So thanks to YOU all from me, have a safe and Merry Christmas
TB
