I would on behalf of everyone here at OBT like to welcome the Teknik’s suspension on board. Teknik’s are one of the leading suspension specialists in Australia and we are lucky to have them as a contributing supporter.

Check out their web site there is so much useful information available on their site. Click here

You can also post up your questions here and Nick or Brad I am sure will be happy to help you out with advice, parts or service.

Teknik’s are also offering a discount for OBT members speak with the guys when you call.

There are some of us that already have Tekniks modified suspension and are happy as Larry :) They have just developed a new rear spring for KTM and Bergs and the results have been amazing ring and speak to the guys about it, or check out the article in ADB

    Again welcome guys

I’ve been waiting for this to be formalised as it’s been in the pipeline for a while. Great to have you onboard Technik!

I’m looking at getting my suspension sorted soon so I will be on my way to Technik, I’ll even have a go at one of them progressive rear springs for the PDS :)

They did my front fork about 8 months ago and I have been very happy with it. Ride slow and it is plush, amp it up and it resists bottoming. Very nice indeed.

Now I can get a deal I may look at getting the rear end done.

Thats my bike all over as well STM, gotta say if I have ever gone ok on my bike its the bike and the suspension that has made me look better then I am

Tekniks not only did the suspension on my bike but they also build the engine from new, the head work and assembled it with the HRC kit. It is a credit to Nick and the team at Tekniks

Thank you for the comments. when you are ready to have your suspension done please let us know. I will need to know your rider weight without gear, what riding you do and what you currently don’t like about your existing setup. The new tapered spring has been met with great response and riders are having excellent results.

Out of interest Brad why do you want to know the rider weight without gear?

I’ve just been reading the PDF (again) from your website and am keen to make some changes but I know the sag will be too far out to bother making changes until I get firmer springs.

Both is better. We have had 75 kg riders who carry 25kg of junk, er i mean “gear” plus they add on another 10kg just in case, cos they are fast. So i end up giving them something for a 110kg rider! We learned, now we always ask!

When you put it like that it seems obvious
