Some interest was shown for the ride we did a couple of weeks back so Tim and I will run it again
Starting from Buttaba we will ride out to Awaba, Westy, the Gap, Southside and Bangalow, much the same as last time but this time we will add the other loops :woohoo:
Starting time 8:00 on Saturday 9-1-10 (Hope thats not too early Moto   )
Will PM my address to those participating
Grade 4+
Come along all, it should be an epic :woohoo: :woohoo:

MurphJanuary 4, 2010 at 10:07 am #166995Good on ya murph
Moto I’m not sure if it makes things any easier but you can leave your bike and trailer at my place friday morning and I’ll tow it down if you like? Just means you’re not towing anything in the morning though and I’m sure the rice cooker can keep the same pace with or without the trailer.
I was tempted again to buy a pipe guard for this run but what’s the use now right?!

January 4, 2010 at 10:22 am #166996Murph could you please add me to some sort of permanent list for your rides and I’ll inform if I’m not coming?

Anonymous8am start from Murph’s place is fine with me
Thanks for the offer Trent, towing the bike is no issue, getting from nelson bay to the South end of the Watagan’s to ride by 7.00am means that I have to get up at 4am though which is why I have an issue.
Murph’s place is a lot closer and the ride time is great
My trailer tows surprisingly well at 200Km/h
Seriously

MurphThis ride will be capped at 10
So sign up while you can
I’m off down to the shed to put new wheel bearings in the front and attend to the spongy front brakes
KTM recomend DOT 5.1 Brake fluid. This I could not get so I will be using DOT 4. So long as I keep away from the silicane based stuff I should be OK???? Does anybody have any knowledge in this area???
Cheers

MurphJanuary 7, 2010 at 11:20 pm #167508Judging by the number of people going and the number of posts in this thread I’m guessing Murph has been getting a few PMs about the ride. Could you guys just post up instead? I understand that some might be shy but it helps build the ride up and puts a bit less pressure on the organiser because other people can help field the questions you might be asking and once they’re answered on the board some of the other blokes might have had the same questions and it puts them at ease.
Hmmm 4 scoops of coffee after giving it up for 4 months is quite a hit – sure gets the blood pumping!
