AnonymousThe bike trailer needs to go as well and so is for sale. I purchased it back in September 2009 brand new. The trailer is supposedly a 3 bike trailer but I have never tried to fit 3 full size bikes on it and question whether they would actually fit. It does fit 2 bikes on without drama’s though.
The trailer was a cheaper construction and needed some work after I bought it as some of the edges of the pressed plate were still sharp, so much so that it ate through one of straps when first got it and I almost lost my bike!
Since then the offending edges have been smoothed and ‘tabs’ were welded on to prevent the straps from rubbing. Additional bracing was also fitted at this stage and the mesh flooring was welded in place. During the renovations the tool box was also fixed to the front of the trailer. I bought and fitted a u-bolt jockey wheel too.
Since then it’s been great without any issues and it tows very well. The only other point to note is that the jerry can holder is made of chocolate and wouldn’t be worth it’s weight in pure diamond. My intention was to grind it off and replace with a decent one but that never and will be sold as is.
Asking price for the trailer is $750, rego is up on the 3rd September 2010.
