this is my part ride report. like the dude before me I too was physically smashed and didnt finish.couldnt overcome the fatigue to keep riding at trail pace without coming off due to fatigue.
all started good , I picked up sweep role and found Diddle and machine broke down second corner.changed plugs and we were away.
wet,moist good fun.
things got sticky over towards sugarloaf when murph led us into a gully only to be unable to get up other side.or back up this side.
An interesting decision was made by murph to follow the creek in the gully down to another trail that crossed it.Watching from the comfortable position on the track Murph disappeared into the scrub, down some rock waterfalls aND FINALLY joined the track.leaches, waterfalls, jungle rocks , it was all there, but he made it.
Mal took a morew sensible approach and got back up the track.we were off again and felt a much needed breeze once back up on the ridge road. Across razorback no issues.then lunch .
20 mins after lunch the fatigue hit, riding slow, stopping for rest ….no good had to limp home..hopefully some one will finish the story.
February 7, 2010 at 9:58 pm #170474Another good report, thanks Morgo

Thanks to everybody who came out to play in the mud :woohoo:
Special thanks to Morgo for sweeping
The second part of the ride was also great, with rainforest and mud, steep rocky hills and mud and a swim in a dam to cool off as the humidy was a killer
