Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the latest Pivotpegz Group Buy thread!
There’s been a couple of these so I’ve put the date in the title!
There was a suggestion made on the weekend that we do another group buy and a quick show of hands made it look like a goer so I’ve spoken with Battyes and he’s keen to fill it up again! He’s also been generous enough to offer us the same price again which was $185 per set delivered to your door. We do need a minimum of 10 buyers which includes me so I need at least nine hands for this to float but I’m sure he’d be happy to do more though so speak up if you want in.
To give you an idea of how good a deal this is I was chatting to a stranger over at ADVrider about selling my KTM set and getting some for the TM and he suggested I come here and see if they’ll do another group buy! OBT is getting famous for its sponsor deals! Well done Battyes and OBT!!!
So if you want a set please post up and I’ll add you to this list. Questions are welcomed but please be distinctly clear that you are committed to buying if you want a set and also include what model you want them for. Can I also ask that we keep the posts limited to the topic so I don’t have to trawl through and find the relevant bits getting this together.

I’d prefer if you posted up guys it’ll be easier for me to go back through all the requests that way rather than having to track them down.
Thanks

February 26, 2010 at 4:59 am #171993I just looked up the pivotpegz site and it says
Yamaha 1999-2006 YZ & WR 125-250 PP-02MK2
So I’m sure you’re fine Freeze. BTW nothing wrong with the 03 WR – I almost bought one as my first bike 18months ago and there’s a good reason they’re so popular. Being blue always help they just need to lighten up a shade or so
February 26, 2010 at 5:01 am #1720093 more to go and we’re moving people! I’m sure there was more hands in the air on saturday when this was suggested so I’m waiting for those guys to speak up.
If you showed interest on saturday but only put your hand up because everyone else was feel free to speak up so i don’t hang out for nothing. We all understand, peer pressure can get to all of us 😆
March 1, 2010 at 12:00 am #172010I could have searched that myself Austblue. Sorry you had to do my dirty work hehe. Reading up about them. Does this come with the kit to put them on myself or I need to buy that seperate?? Also there is no difference if its a WR250 or 250F does it? Its the same thing yeah?
P.S I agree, Blue is the best… Did you leave yours in the sun for a while did you?? hehe.
March 1, 2010 at 12:14 am #172247Freeze,The Pegz are a breeze to fit. They come ready to fit your bike, 5 minutes and you are Pivoting!!
March 1, 2010 at 12:19 am #172248I would assume that if it were a WR250YZ (or is it YZ250WR?) they’d note that and Mr Blue may even tell us if the frame is the same?
I didn’t buy my first set brand new but the only part you could possibly need if it didn’t come with it is a split pin though I reckon it would. You re-use the stock locking bolt but if you’ve never removed your pegs chances are the split pin will be stuffed.
I’m bored at work so in case you’re not sure what a split pin is….
March 1, 2010 at 12:26 am #171714Gday mate,sounds like a good deal,put me down for a pair.08 Honda CRF450X cheers Michael.
