I hope everyone had as much fun yesterday as I did out riding.
We all met up at the normal meeting place at 6.30 and set off for the hills.
The sky was a little grey over the riding grounds and there was that light misty rain falling when we were unloading. I opted for safety glasses as the misty rain was going to render my goggles useless.
Snowy was on his maiden ride with us and by his comments he will be becoming an Old bull real soon, he was as happy as a pig in poo.
True to form, riding the trails was like a dog on lino, crikey it was greasy.
We spent the morning getting snowy acquainted with his DRZ and the we had to head back to camp to fix whannies flat on his WR450 because he didn’t want to fix it on the trail (trash one tube). We headed off towards the berry patch and along the way Damus was trying to find a trail he was show the other week, no joy there so we just headed down into the valley following a trail we knew.
We were travelling along sweet (and you could see snowy`s smile under his helmet) :woohoo:
When we hit the first obstacle, a gate that looked like it belonged on the set of Jurassic park. We passed that one only to be greeted by another about 2 ks further on, there was no way around this one,so we headed to a single trail we had seen coming in, Boy, talk about steep and shaley,it was a momentum is your friend hill and long as well.
Welcome to the forest snowy.LOL :cheer:
We where just about at the berry patch when there was a log across the trail, nothing massive nor was it impassable but talk about cause carnage, everyone except PEP got hung up on it, what made it harder was snowy in the back ground piddling himself laughing. :silly:
The ham, cheese and pineapple melt hit the spot for lunch and them it was back on the steed and making tracks back to the cars.
One of the boys had a case of jelly belly so we B lined it back. :dry:There were some epic offs and there were some of them ones that make you nearly fall of your own bike due to laughing.
97ks all up.
Thanks to
PEP
