Met Champo (riding buddy from another site) at Edgeworth Servo @ 0815 as arranged and after a quick chat, we made a bee line for Martinsville via Wakefield, from there is was straight to Letter A, where we decided that no adventure ride is complete without a Latte

As much as we where enjoying the mid morning sun decide we best get a move on.
So it was on to St Albans for cool drink (thanx Champo) and break

Before heading of to Webb Creek and onto wheelbarrow Ridge, it had been a while since I’d ridden it and as fate would have it it was about know that I discovered that the waypoints I’d loaded the night before hadn’t in fact loaded, so all navigation from this point on was reliant on my memory
A few stops to get our bearings where needed  but before long we reached Colo Heights, a refuel and a chat to some guys from “Rapid” magazine, testing a very impressive Gaggle of Sports bikes, think I counted about nine in total.

Also meet a couple with classic old Citroen(sp)

We headed of up the Putty ahead of the Rapid guys, and it wasn’t long before they we on our tail and passing us as if we where standing still.
After overshooting Howes trail/Big Yengo we where soon back on track

Been a while since I’d ridden this track and it was a lot rougher than I remembered, didn’t seem to worry Champo at all :
, its something to behold seeing a Dominator a full tilt, both wheel sliding through a corner, I think Champo thought he was still on the TM 😯
A quick stop at Finchley trig lookout

By the time we got to Laguna it was getting late, but Champo decided he needed to eat, so a quick bite and we where off via Wollombi, Sandy Creek Road, Mulbring, where we had a bike swap, but it wasn’t long before I was clambering to get back on the Wee.
a quick blast up over Sugarloaf and home before the sun set.

my trip meter was showing 415 ks as I pulled into the drive and a least half that was offroad :thumb:
