A fun little game if anyones interested. Picked it up from another forum I follow.
rules are simple . a line or lines are given from a song , the next person finds a word or idea from that thread and then puts forward lines from another song and so on. ral song lyrics are to be used.I`ll start.should be plenty of options in this.

I can’t use it anymore
It’s getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I’m knockin’ on heaven’s doorKnock-knock-knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock-knock-knockin’ on heaven’s door”May 16, 2010 at 4:39 am #179259fireman wrote:

All that glitters is gold

In the California town
People are in for the eveningI jump into my car
And I throw in my guitar
My heart beatin’ time with the breathingDriving over Kanan
Singing to my soul
‘Cause people out there turn the music into goldMay 16, 2010 at 8:57 am #179281the devil went down to georgia,
he was looking for a soul to steal,
he was in a bind , he was way behind
and willling to make a dealMay 16, 2010 at 9:44 am #179298It was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June
In a Kenworth pullin logs
Cab over Pete with a reefer on
And a Jimmy haulin hogs
We’s headed for bear on eye-one-oh
About a mile outta Shakeytown
I says Pigpen, this here’s the Rubber Duck
And I’m about to put the hammer downMay 16, 2010 at 11:25 am #179306Trailboss wrote:

you could have a big dipper
going up and down, all around the bends
you could have a bumper car, bumping
this amusement never endsI want to be your sledgehammer
why don’t you call my name
oh let me be your sledgehammer“May 16, 2010 at 12:26 pm #179315fireman wrote:

Because I just put on the straw that broke the camel’s back
Blinded by the light so I can’t see three feet in front of me
It’s easier to make a mistake when you’ve lots all sense of direction
Try to swim away but the grip just gets tighter
I know you’re going to stomp my head into the ground
But could you be a little quieter?May 16, 2010 at 12:49 pm #179320JAK wrote:

But could you be a little quieter?Well it’s bulls and blood
It’s dust and mud
It’s the roar of a Sunday crowd
It’s the white in his knuckles
The gold in the buckle
He’ll win the next go ’round
It’s boots and chaps
It’s cowboy hats
It’s spurs and latigo
It’s the ropes and the reins
And the joy and the pain
And they call the thing rodeo
It’ll drive a cowboy crazy
It’ll drive the man insane
And he’ll sell off everything he owns
Just to pay to play the game
And a broken home and some broken bones
Is all he’ll have to show
For all the years that he spent chasin’
This dream they call rodeoMay 16, 2010 at 1:19 pm #179322Trailboss wrote:

Oh, I can’t close my eyes and make it go away! How long?
How long must we sing this song?
How long?
How long?‘Cause tonight…we can be as one
Tonight…Broken bottles under children’s feet
Bodies strewn across the dead-end streets
But I won’t heed the battle call
It puts my back up, puts back up against the wall!Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

We get a bit to play around with doesn’t really matter
They kid us with their dole, kid us with the dope
But generally speaking, nobody’s got a hopeEverything’s set, everything’s fine
You just got to stand in line
Oh everything’s set, everything’s fine
You just got to stand in lineMay 17, 2010 at 12:37 am #179252Long time ago me and my brother Kyle here,…
we was hitchhikin’ down a long and lonesome road.
All of a sudden,
there shined a shiny demon…
in the middle…
of the road.And he said:
“Play the best song in the world,
or I’ll eat your souls.”Well me and Kyle,… we looked at each other,
and we each said…
“Okay.”May 17, 2010 at 9:01 am #179336There was fifteen million fingers
Learnin’ how to play
And you could hear the fingers pickin’
And this is what they had to sayLet there be light, sound, drums, ‘n guitar, ah
Let there be rockMay 17, 2010 at 9:08 am #179383LC4skin wrote:

Let there be rockYou know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn’t get much higher
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire -
