OK, I am after your wheel bearings sizes please. What this means is when you next change your wheel bearings can you please get the numbers of the bearings and post them here on this thread example
XR650R 2005 model
Rear wheel – 6204 and 6203
Front wheel – 6202 x 2
If you are able to get numbers of the seals please post those as well. Over a period of time I hope to get enough information together to have a bearing shop we have in mind set up with bearing and maybe seal kits both able to be purchased separately or together. You will be able to ring up and order the kit and they will send them to you maybe even COD. If you have ever bought your wheel bearings from a bearing shop you will know they are heaps cheaper then most bike shops
This is of course if people help and provide their bearing numbers. This will help everybody. I will also source numbers from other areas and post them as well.

May 25, 2010 at 5:14 am #179977here you go TB, did my rear when i put the new tyre on for Kenda.
KTM LC4-E 2001 build 2002 model
rear
numbers on the seal: HCH brand, 6205-2R5 x 2 and 1x that just has 6205 on the seal but is a double race bearing, the 3 bearings are all the same internal and external measurements. and i got mine form a shop that stocks bearings, they had the 6205-2R5 in stock but had to get the double race one in over night.
new bearings are KBC 6025DD x2 and i’ll have to look up the KBC number for the 1x double race one if i still have the box floating around.
hope this is what you are after.
a side note/ Q? is there a difference in quality as to brands? i know price can make a difference, some times. but what about brands?
May 25, 2010 at 6:34 am #179984Bloody great Idea TB, I’ll have a look at the old ones this evening, as they all the same for the YZ/WR range from 98ish to current.
If someone knows the bearing sizes for “02-“04 yamaha YZ/WR linkages I’d be grateful….
In the middle of a rearend refurbishment, and am ashamed to state that I left it far too late this time…..

May 25, 2010 at 1:23 pm #179978I know some say different model wr450’s use different bearings, but from what I have seen its the seals/spacers that change bearings stay the same… Standard yamaha wheel bearings normally don’t come with seals so i usually use sealed bearings.
Alloy frame and steel frame use the same headset bearings too
