May 27, 2010 at 11:34 pm #180202How do you go about putting in new spokes, what’s the trick to getting it true?
May 27, 2010 at 11:46 pm #180197Hey TB I will require your services in the future such as wheel repair and xr400 bling additions how many bundys required for wheel rebuilds?
May 27, 2010 at 11:57 pm #180218I wouldn’t mind some nice bling hubs. Does The same place do those TB??

May 28, 2010 at 1:19 am #180198Hey Kram… I painted my hubs myself.. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts… I rekon a good powder coat or anodize is the go.. If you have the coin just buy Talon pre-colored hubs.. for some reason the Anodizers we used didn’t want to do our hubs just the rims..

When you re anodise you have to double etch for a longer period, this will actually reduce the wall thickness, which in turn will prob make bearings Etc not fit as well – if you wanted to change the colour this could not be done

May 28, 2010 at 1:50 am #180224I was told by the anodiser that hubs are cast and cast from crap alloy and when anodised the rough casting is full of pitting and the anodising then looks like crap
Billet for strength, mine are powder coated and haven’t been to bad. I am now looking and have priced Talon billet hubs this morning for the strength more then looks. I will then lace them with extra heavy duty spokes

Hey Kram
I would start with fork seals. It looked like you may have sprung a leak on your get off.
I hope your recovery is going well mate.STM
