Had to double someone 120 odd kms home  We didnt do the route cause well we didnt did we Mick  . Of course Mick didnt fit the big tank to his XR because well he is Mick
Boulder showed up Jeffro  Actually Boulder showed up everybody. Moose owns the Oxley Hwy ;) Jeffro has a lovely bunch of coconuts  And he is an ugly bitch :P
Bollocks is a legend. Mick again showed his lack of shed skills :P Yes I left the grip warmers on and had a flat battery  Mick’s tight arse jumper leads weren’t worth a knob of goat shit till Boulder, Jeffro and I fixed them while Mick, well Mick, Mick did, Mick walked around in circles  Mick got the NX going later in the day ;) Moose just giggled a lot, his knowledge of the tracks was invaluable cheers mate and cheers for the ride on Friday while sampled some bundies
If you put enough clothes on you cane be warm and comfortable

    #181630

So wheel bearings are important? I should have a look at mine and maybe the cracks in the frame where the sidestand is attached it is nearly gone there is movement I need to get it welded up.So Jeffro what did you do to your big yellow banana?

Ummmm….If you look at your map again, you will find that we came aweful close to doing it. It turns out that picture of the bridge you wanted to find, is the washed out one on Causeway road. You was the one wanting to cut the ride short if I remember right, you was the one not wanting to do the singles or any scary creek crossings where your feet might get wet. ;)

Of course Mick didnt fit the big tank to his XR because well he is Mick

The T piece was the incorrect size, thus making fitting the tank futile.

I did go and get Mooses bike and fit the big tank to it though.

Boulder showed up Jeffro  Actually Boulder showed up everybody.

Couldn’t believe my eyes when Boulder rocked down my Driveway at 7am after riding from Berowra. Now that is hard core. Awesome effort.

Moose owns the Oxley Hwy ;)

    That he does

Jeffro has a lovely bunch of coconuts  And he is an ugly bitch :P

    Bloody coconuts

    Bollocks is a legend.

Also very brave, lucky his missus didn’t wake up in the car parked out the front of my shack on Friday night

Mick again showed his lack of shed skills :P

Whatever, at least I didn’t smoke any durries.

Yes I left the grip warmers on and had a flat battery

Even after saying you need a little light to tell you when they are on.

BTW “Tenere” is an aboriginal word  Did anyone know that they are made in France???? WE do, TB told us 10 times on Friday night.

Mick’s tight arse jumper leads weren’t worth a knob of goat shit till Boulder, Jeffro and I fixed them while Mick, well Mick, Mick did, Mick walked around in circles

It took 3 of you to fix them??? Big job that. They cost me $17, 20 years ago and have served me well untill you got hold of them.

Mick got the NX going later in the day ;)

Yep I came to terms with the NX later in the day after I worked out all her idiosyncrasies and how to ride around the flat spot. I had a ball on the old girl.

Moose just giggled a lot, his knowledge of the tracks was invaluable cheers mate and cheers for the ride on Friday while sampled some bundies

Mooses knowledge?? Ummm I think I may have lead the ride through to Mt George. Moose had less idea where we were going than I did.

Sampled some Bundies??? Two long necks and 9 cans goes way beyond the definition of sample

If you put enough clothes on you cane be warm and comfortable

To set the record straight, by the time we got to Mt George I was in the zone and quite happy to continue on to Gloucester,it was my ride buddy who pointed out that his headlight wasn’t up to scratch for a ride home over Comboyne Plateau in the dark. Hopefully that clears a few things up. :)

Hey everybody, did you know Teneres are made in France???

Wow what happened here I wrote my quick points about the weekend and it seems Mick has run with the hook, trace, bait, line , rod, boat and motor  :P   That wasn’t my intention but hey let me straighten it out

Fact one we didnt do the track thats all I said wasn’t it, you after talking with Moose changed it before the first turn. Feet wasn’t an issue I only reminded you that 3 of us had a lot of riding on a cold day to do after you left us (I got home at 8.30pm). And yes I wasn’t keen with the incorrect way i had loaded my bike to do any singles (and I mean 1st 2nd gear) as were you from memory

Of course Mick didnt fit the big tank to his XR because well he is Mick

The T piece was the incorrect size, thus making fitting the tank futile.

I did go and get Moose’s bike and fit the big tank to it though.

The T piece was the wrong size because the ex mechanic under instruction was told to buy some fuel line but was to tight kept saying he had some about a foot being the quote. Hose was wrong tee piece was wrong  The guards stopped it as i said they had to come of better on the NX anyway ;) And Moose helped then finished his bike of I can remember watching him struggle with the side covers

Boulder showed up Jeffro  Actually Boulder showed up everybody.

Couldn’t believe my eyes when Boulder rocked down my Driveway at 7am after riding from Berowra. Now that is hard core. Awesome effort.

Yeah one of the most hard core efforts I have ever seen, Mick and I were dumb founded when he said he was doing it go Boulder

Moose owns the Oxley Hwy ;)

    That he does

    Without excuses

Jeffro has a lovely bunch of coconuts  And he is an ugly bitch :P

    Bloody coconuts

    Bloody coconuts

Mick again showed his lack of shed skills :P

Whatever, at least I didn’t smoke any durries.

No no durries very well done and told you i thought a top effort, no no durries but you spent to night cleaning air filters over cleaning air filters

Yes I left the grip warmers on and had a flat battery

Even after saying you need a little light to tell you when they are on.

Yeah got to get a light for that

BTW “Tenere” is an aboriginal word  Did anyone know that they are made in France???? WE do, TB told us 10 times on Friday night.

I told you, then Moose when he turned up and whenever someone turned up I told them when they asked about my bike. You would be better served to stop eavesdropping sir

Bullshit thats bullshit, the leads came from a toy set Conner had as a kid, you wouldn’t pay 17 bucks for them today let alone 20 years ago you tight bastard

The earth clamp was broken you told us when you handed them over, when hooked to a battery and ends touched together NO SPARK CAUSE LEADS ROOTED until Jeffro Boulder and I fixed them the cheap lead had the ends crimped and had corroded it the clamps once fixed just did the job. Because they all are rooted the resistance is through the roof and the voltage loss is real high but we just got it started :)

Mick got the NX going later in the day ;)

Yep I came to terms with the NX later in the day after I worked out all her idiosyncrasies and how to ride around the flat spot. I had a ball on the old girl.

    Great old bus that bike

Moose just giggled a lot, his knowledge of the tracks was invaluable cheers mate and cheers for the ride on Friday while sampled some bundies

Mooses knowledge?? Ummm I think I may have lead the ride through to Mt George. Moose had less idea where we were going than I did.

You lead yes cause at every turn you made and many times you stopped at an intersection to get advice from Moose didnt you  was that just to stare into his eyes   relax you cant know it all I am sure you knew a lot of the areas but I was thanking Moose as well. I thanked you last night for the hospitality and the ride didnt I sleepy

Sampled some Bundies??? Two long necks and 9 cans goes way beyond the definition of sample

Yeah thats a sample by definition

Friday arvo and I was in a bad frame of mind had a s#@t day and was thinking about a mate of mine who has ridden more k’s around this country than anyone I know and is now fighting a horrible disease. I went on OB’s and saw that the boys were doing a ride from Wauchope to Gloucester, so I sent TB a text and finished my glass of red and went to the shed to swap tanks on the Banana.
Saturday morning up at 230 and on my away by 250 forgot how cold it is at that time of day!! Met the boys at micks at 7.00 and had the best coffee thanks Mick.
We jump started the Tenere because TB would’nt accept a tow from a Banana even though the Yamaha has a hitch at the front made for the job and off we went on our wauchope to Gloucester adventure!!
Mick and Moose showed us around there back yard and we rode some really good dirt roads and saw some great countryside with a few water crossings thrown in to test our boots.
Brunch at Gingers creek and then off to ride some more good roads before we parted company with the Wauchope boys in a small town outside the pub with no beer!! cant remember the name of the place but thanks guys for a great day.
Our adventure continued on our way home with Jeffro’s Banana spitting the dummy and having to be left at a property for collection at a later date.
Jeffro kept TB nice and warm on the trip home from here as he tested the tenere’s rear shock!
A great days riding with some great company as always with Old Bulls.
891 K’s on the clock for the day and the Banana didnt complain once!!
