What the F@#K?
I get home from taking the family out to dinner tonight to find a message on my answering machine from my dad (who rode my KLX on the weekend) To tell me to look at a DRZ on ebay he is looking at.
He gave bikes up years ago because of the lack of rides going on and now i think he has been bitten big time by a OBT bug

July 4, 2010 at 2:40 pm #183075Hey Corey8
I set off into the bush on the first lap of the second loop. Your dad had taken off before us like a man on a mission. I enter into the single line only to see a headlight coming my way. What the? The KLX pulls up and goes am I going the right way??? Yeh Sure I reply. Then I off charging up the hill thinking I doing all right only to be passed by your dad like I’am standing on the sidewalk. Your dad goes hard – good on him.
Regretfully I have my kids overtaking me up hills and now your dad!! Hey what the hell Im still having a heap of fun – and I dont want that golf cart either. Not yet anyway.

July 4, 2010 at 8:58 pm #183081Cory, I had the pleasure of riding a sweep lap with your dad and mate he can peddle, considering he hadn’t ridden in several years he wheeled that bike of yours like a man possessed!! He is more than welcome here at OBT!! Thanks for bringing him along. He certainly looked like he was enjoying the day. How did he pull up?? A bit stiff and sore??
Cheers
MickJuly 4, 2010 at 9:11 pm #183082I actually had the chance to roost him in the mud hole but didnt , then he belts past me and sings out you should have roosted me followed by a shower of loam as he tore off up the hill like he just robbed a bank or something,, help him get the DRZ mate, you will have the best riding buddy.

I understand your dad’s point of view cause when I moved from one area to the next years ago I was unable to find trail riding mates so I took on other stuff,
I reckon a kawa 250 would be the go being a bit lighter for him,has he a member name yet?this is a bit of corey senior in action.
