Well, the knee has been thoroughly tested today ,,,,,

    AND PASSED I think
Covered 195ks today, from Cameron Park thru to Sugarloaf, then along the Ridge rd to Freemans. Then into the Wattos which was not too bad in places to our surprise :D
Thank Christ I put the Scorpions on though, there were a lot of slippery rutted sections etc
Out to Millfield for a burger & fuel , then back up to Flat Rock & home thru some testing trails and one in particular Jungle Style overgrown single logfest which claimed an XR400 🙄
Looks like a dropped Cam Chain, so we had to push the thing about 1.5k up out of the jungle to the Forest Rd where we hid it & I doubled the owner down 20k to Freemans to wait for Fish & Chip to return with a trailer for the recovery 😆

All in all , a great ride really, except for the last 2 hrs struggling with a dead Honda
The boys will be still out there now recovering it as I type!!!

Off to work tonite now, so I will be knackered thru the night for sure

Thanx to my ride buddy for the ride, it was just what the doctor ordered for the knee test :silly:
    Now,,,, BRING ON NUNDLE :woohoo:

 I dunno really, it was similar to when my XR250 stopped a few yrs back.
His kicker jammed solid, so the boys put it in gear, bumped it backwardS a few times and presto,,, it loosened up,,, but just kicked down freely with NO RESISTANCE at all, just a whirring sound

SO, the long haul began up to the road (HE WAS ASKING FOR A LIGHTER AT ONE STAGE)

WILL KNOW MORE IN A FEW DAYS i SUPPOSE

The most testing part was the last hr of pushing the XR up out of the jungle!!!
Damn it was hard yakka, with many rest stops on the way up,,,

Anyway, I have now passed the doubt stage (all in the head) and am ready to rock again ;)

Just hadn`t planned on 195ks first ride back

    NOPE,,
No Pics mate, we had no cameras, no phones & no time to stop
Too busy wrestling bikes thru the clay (Dog on Lino style) :P

BTW, I hear that the XR`s dramas may now just be the workings of the kicker shitting itself!!!
Good news for the young bloke, as he only got the bike last friday
