    “Australia’s international motocross star Chad Reed has been forced to withdraw from all racing activities in 2010 after being diagnosed with the Epstein Barr virus.

    Reed, the current AMA Motocross Champion and two-time World Supercross Champion, has been struggling with fatigue in the past few months and announced he would be sitting out the rest of the year after the diagnosis.”

    Get well soon Reedy, the sport will not be the same without ya,,,
    Especially with a hometown race event on in OCTOBER !!!!! :(

    Apparently he has been diagnosed with Epstein Barr virus.

    It’s a precursor to several types of cancer including rampant (hairy) lukemia, most people who get the virus suppress it without even being aware they have got it, some highly unlucky individuals get the full-blown version.

    It IS a really bad bit of gear.

    Your taking the piss out of the poor bugger and he could have serious health problems.

    Even if he couldnt beat some of these other riders he was still the second best in the world and stood up to be counted when they couldnt because of injury.

    So I say f#@k you and f#@k them, he is pretty good

    Your right LC I digress :huh: , I wish his recovery all the best and he can only beat whats in front of him true ;) He was certainly faster then everyone when he came out and I saw him in the gong

    Good on ya Guru! What trophies are in your cabinet!!!! (other than the “I can smash Crash when ever I want to trophy”

    Leave him alone, he’s done more than any other rider overseas for Aussie bike riding.
