    One of the guys from Trailmates had some riding gear stolen from his shed recently, today this happened.

    You guys are not going to believe this…

    I walk out of the Greenhills shops this arvo and in front of me there is a 17-19 yr old wearing a camelbak like my old one… and he is wearing MX boots.. I start to walk after him and then I realise the fact the boots he is wearing used to belong to me…

    I confront him and after about 5 minutes I manage to get the camelbak back.. at this stage his mate shows up on a older WRF250/450 with no rego plate who tells the other one to hit me with a helmet he was carrying.. Here is when I squared up ready to let him have it and he lets go of the camelbak and does the runner..

    I run over to the fat one on the WRF and he also takes off…

    Good news is that the camelbak is full of goodies, including phones and a set of keys..

    I only opened the zip so there could be more.. waiting for the cops right now and they already stated that they will get the footage so they can ID him..

    Maybe, just maybe a small win for the good guys…

    Turns out there was a wallet in the bag as well, last post he was waiting for the cops to turn up.

    Top stuff. I would have clocked the guy on the bike anyway as it was more than likely stolen as well.

    :laugh: :laugh: Good onya Jeffro ;) maybe this will lead to the recovery of some more stolen bikes (like my kx250 and Gillies wr450 :angry: )

    I know this gentleman and have ridden with him and you will not meet a nicer person,except he rides one of them orange things…
    good to see a half decent result from a theft.

    Yeah he is a mamber on here actually (Barker) mostly from Trailmates,,,
    This is actually a story from a few weeks back now, I had a ride with one of his buddies to test the knee on my last RDO , and he told me of the story then.
    Haven`t heard of any further outcomes of the police investigation as yet :dry:

    Still a good one, would have loved to be there when the little scumbags were confronted by the big fella :woohoo: Should have just clocked the pair of em ;)
