 I just got back from ALDI this morning after work to get some new rain gear,,,
Saw the touring type gloves with carbon knuckle protection so I grabbed them & also grabbed a pair of nylon riding pants
All for $168Man, there was a rush for the gear, especially the riding jacket & pant sets, not to mention the $200 waterproof, Bluetooth GPS  I had to threaten one bloke to get out of my face while I tried on a set of the gloves
Never thought I`d be buying bike gear from there,,,,,,,
August 5, 2010 at 12:59 am #185358hey eags… I bought one of the DriRider wannabe jackets.. Very nice for $99 in my not so humble opinion..

I also bought a pair of the gloves.. $40 it was a no brainer.. I will test them out this weekend in the freezing cold with TB..
Gotta love Aldi.. Now all we need is Cosco to open here in Sydney and say good bye to the rip off called Coles and Woolies.. Warehouse grocery shopping is something I miss from the US as well as being able to do my shopping at 2:30 in the morning when I couldn’t sleep..  :woohoo:
August 5, 2010 at 1:16 am #185359good old Aldi hey
eags you make me laugh i think of it like taking your car or bike for a service to a mower shop yeah some one there may be able to change the oil ect but did you really get what you paid for do they specialize in what youre after (btw i work in a power equipment shop). They import it from china, india or were ever its made a cheap as possible but is the quality there? I always have and always will buy from a reputable bike shop, best cheapest price usually does not equate to quality gear. still laughing Aldi love it
i do shop there for cheap food but again sometimes even that is crap! ever tried the razors from there ouch!!!!!
