Had a cracker father’s day!! Got a new 661 pressure suit as a present. We then loaded up the bikes and headed to my inlaws property at Comboyne for the day.
The kids are both riding in a pony express next weekend so they where keen to have a blast on the trails on the hill in the background.

No one has ridden our trails since we rode them at Xmas, they where a bit over grown but after a few loops they opened up nicely. WE have a 8km loop happening on the 640 acre property.

We also had a play on some natural terrain jumps and hills

Connor got a little out of shape and found out that blackberry bushes bite

A pic of Taylah in the exact spot where I am gunna build a house to retire in one day.

While we had a rest, we could hear the unmistakable sound of a Big Red Pig coming our way. My brother in law turned up on my old XR600. The bugger can ride it pretty bloody good too.

Note the safety gear he wears.

We then headed back to the inlaws for a BBQ lunch and a beer or two.

The uncomfortable moment when your new “ride” meets your old “ride”.LOL

All in all, a top way to spend fathers day!!!

Yeah she went well actually, she had one moment and dropped her bike and broke a clutch perch. Lucky I had a spare with us.

Yep I could live with that as a good fathers day.

I had a few beers when I got home and crashed out on the lounge at 8.30, in doing so, I think I missed out on something good. :(

Glad you had a great Day Michael, seems like the kids also enjoyed the day, pony exing eh? that’s the best fun racing can be.

Yeah, I have thought that for 20 years. Couple of those Blackbutts have gotta go, to make the most of the view. That is looking due north in those pics. Can just picture myself sitting there on the verandah in the sun taking in the view. :)
