A couple of us from Tamvegas decided it was time to find/make some new trails in our riding grounds. B)
Aaron, Billy (splashed), Demus, Shaun (klx123) ,Snowy and I met up with Barney and old400 at ponderosa to kick off the day. Snowy and I had new second hand bike trailers to show off to the world, I told snowy not sit on mine because the paint was still wet, a bit dusty but still wet.(pressure pack job)
We kind of had a plan in mind so off we set. I lead the troops to the start point and let them loose. The talent of this lot to look at a log and turn it into a doable obstacle is uncanny. :pinch: 2 or 3 hours in and things where looking up in the new trail department. We ran them for a few Ks in one direction and then turned around and ran them in reverse to see if they would work, they hook onto our current trails real sweet and will add some good ks to the rides when we are done. ;) A hidden entry to keep them from getting trashed was in order, that secret we probably won’t remember where they are.
We played around for a while on the red clay trails that were covered in a green dust that were unbelievably slippery, someone said the green dust was pine tree semen (yuk) :X then it was back to the cars for a splash and dash and then off to the trails Demus has been trying to find every since he went on a guided ride up there.
We rode the major road for a while then it was into the scrub we went. Demus done a great job leading us into the unknown and I think we were following a 5 year old roo trail when we came across carnage creek. :) :) :) Steep and slippery, No-one made it or even got close to getting to the top, Oldbulls spirit got all the bikes to the top and we continued on deeper into Bunyip country. :cheer:
We eventually had to surrender to the bush and turn around and head for home. :( :( :(
The ride back to the cars was a typical nundle affair, throttles open, bloke’s yehahhing and everyone just having the bestess time. ;) I left snowy on a corner 👿 and when I reach the second next corner I put him on it, he was on song on the DRZ tearing through the pack. We got back to the cars, loaded up (on the flash trailers) and said farewell to the Quirindi pair and then we set sail for the Dungy pub. :) :) Nice blokes them 2, good to meet them.
A couple of bevies and some bench racing later we said our goodbyes and roamed off our separate ways in our separate lives until someone says, hey lets go for a ride, and the troops will rally again to take on the forest on our iron beasts.

God I love this game! :pinch: :pinch:
