Hi guys, Dan’s the name, new to the forum and dirting.

Been riding on the road for 8 years now and finally after much nagging from mates and enjoying my first ride on a 08 450X (cheers tramo) i’ve sold one of my road bikes and landed a 2001 KTM 400EXC.

Well lets say that it is a steep learning curve!!! The complete polar opposite to road riding. I’ve only done a small 10-15min trail and some laps round a mates trail/track and already i’ve worked out that i’m very unfit and slightly out of my league…… only crashed 5 times by loosing my footing or balance so not as bad as i thought.

oh plus all the sphincter tensioners along the way.

    so much practice beckons.

Anyways hoping to gain knowledge and friends so see you round….

    cheers daniel

Welcome Dan, as you can see, if you look about the site, a bit of crap gets flung about but it is all in good fun. You’ll need your thick skin and a good sense of humour and you’ll be right. Good to see you getting into it on a dirt bike. Thanks for the intro mate.

    Cheers
    Mick
