    Well its started, today Nickj turned up at 8.30am we mucked around went down to Sutto’s got some more bits and pieces and went down to the Nepean River to take some photos of our bikes loaded and ready

    Once home we started laying gear out and getting ready

    Nick fitted his Dakar sticker the same as mine that I got him, we fitted those the please the sand gods :laugh:

    Johnny Campbell on the 1x machine turned up

    ( Well thats what Moose wanted to be called after he stuck the home made 1x numbers on his Honda)

    Moose ran out of fuel on the freeway as it turns out honest Micks fuel tank supply shop gave him a 16 litre tank not the advertised 23 litre :laugh: :P

    As luck would have it I have Chicken’s (or mine :laugh: ) 23 litre tank so we fitted that

    We then loaded the trailer taking our gear to Condo. Krusty updated Nick’s GPS.

    We have had a few beers :laugh: Dinner thanks to Salina and are watching, yes “Dust to Glory”

    Well the tracker will start around 5.30 in the morning in the thread in the Bullpit

    Update.

    Just got a call from TB. The boys made it to Condo safely after doing 501kms for the day. Rumour has it that one of the DRZ’s hit the deck during the course of the day. No damage though as it was in a service station :laugh:Just one embarrassed Jeffro, so embarrassed he headed up the road with his hazard lights on. :laugh: A certain XR600 must be running sweet as she got a head of steam up on a private road and rounded every one up at 150kmh. :woohoo:

    I thought Jeffro was takin` the Strom ??? to many rides to choose from hey :laugh: Obviously Jay Foreman worked his magic on the banana & he decided to take that instead,,,

    The SPOT link is a good thing indeed, I have been watching it periodically thru the day. Excellent insurance for the safety side of things for sure , as well as peace of mind for the relos etc ;)

    OOoops my bad. I forgot Jeffro was riding the VStrom. DRZ’s dont have hazard lights…….although Boony’s should.

    Got here safe and after a real quick ride on some great dirt roads , hitting up to 130 kph with the big 28 ltr tank on the Drz was a new one for me and I loved it!!
    Just had a few beers and awesome feed at the Condo hotel, and everyones keen to head in the morning.

    TB broke news that I’m riding at front with him so got to step up to the mark now !!

    Jeffro holds the speed record on the strom with TB and moose close behind.

    Hmmmmm. 7.30 am and the spot tracker still says they are in Condobolin. They either had a big night or they are riding round and round in Condo trying to find a way out of town. :laugh:
