Ok after taking a closer look at my KLX after Coffs harbour ride i have found that i have damaged left radiator not to the stage off stuffed all together it should be fine i hope.

Any way i want to know what is the best radiator guards out there for it?

I am thinking along the lines of force as the ones on the old farts DRZ seem pretty strong

    Cheers Corey

    Hi Corey
I got the B&B gaurds for my DRZ and have been very happy , the only draw back is when I fit my safari tank and I have to take them off.

Just something to consider if your thinking of a bigger tank at any time ;)

I’m just about to buy a set myself.. If you go to the force site in OZ they sell em direct and a lot cheaper than B&B.. force seem to be the ones that recommended every time this subject pops up.. :)

I need the force I believe as they will work fine with the large 28 liter tank where the B&B gets in the way????

    Cheers…

    Corey,

Mate of mine has a klx and he couldn’t get radiator guards for it as they don’t make them. His is a fairly old model though. What he had to do is measure his radiators and ring up the manufacturers and find a set that fitted. He could get a set that fitted the mounts but had to do some modifications to get the shrouds to fit.

As far as brands go, I’ve had B&B and my current bike has force. I reckon B&B are better but there is nothing wrong with force if the others are significantly dearer.
