A few weeks back, I downloaded your PDF on Suspension set up and spent some time playing with clickers to find a set up that wasnt making me turn grey at any chance it had. I cant thank you lads enough for the insight it gave me to setting up my bike. Although Im limited to what the Husky came with as standard in way of Spring rates, i have found i can achieve a few settings to suit teh different areas I ride. One thing that stands out, Traction. Previously the 610 would spin up all over the place instead of standing up or bolting out the blocks. Now and especially with the new gearing Im running, the bike is pure evil/thrill factor on the tracks I ride. Again, Thanks, a very Valuable read indeed : )
January 26, 2011 at 6:53 am #195261Are you referring to the Tekniks pdf mate?

January 26, 2011 at 7:09 am #195266yea, the PDF on how to go about settng the bike up for where you ride. Sadly, Funds are tight so i make do with what i got. ( or can afford to do). I now have 3-4 settings I use depending on where I ride. The biggest point of difference is I now got an Idea of what i was trying to achieve/ why I was doing what i was doing. the Sag on my bike cant be correct as My wieght is more than the rear is designed to live with, by adjusting it to as close as possible to where its meant to be, then dialling in the clickers for the different ground structures, I now got a ride that is more pleasure than Pain.. LOL, I have So sampled way more dirt about this place than I ever wanted.. a few more tweaks as I can afford them will no doubt make more diference again. Just need to be making $’s first so as I can send my Forks /rear shock to these lads to wave their magic wands over them.

I figured it was but as there was no mention of Tekniks in the thread I asked the question on behalf of a site sponsor more than for myself.
January 26, 2011 at 7:36 am #195270I was wondering about that to STM as i saw no mention of TEKNIKS in the thread.
I just assumed it was about TEKNIKS as well.

January 29, 2011 at 12:58 pm #195262Bend over and assume the position TB.
Give us a call 610, and lets go through what we can do with your stock suspension until you can send them in.
We’re happiness consultants, not just a cash repository, we’re here to help.
