Hatto has kindly offered to lead a ride for me which will be grade 2 – 2.5:
Grade 2) Now we’re getting the hang of it! Twin trail and open single line, ready to tackle something a bit more challenging. You want to take on a few easier hills, rocks, ruts and roots across varied terrain but would need some assistance in case things go wrong. Frequent rest breaks and assistance form other riders is likely to be required.
Grade 3) I’ve seen most obstacles riding has to offer and a have good idea of how to handle them, the odd push and helping hand wouldn’t hurt. No crazy hills yet though! Don’t mind stopping for a few rest breaks to catch my breath.
So it’s about time on the bike, riding to enjoy – not just survive, and meeting some new people.
Meet in Nowra at Kaman Aviation – 8.30am for 9am departure
Kaman Aerospace is the 1st Building in the Albatross Aviation Technology Park, Braidwood Rd, Off Albatross Rd.
There is no real address but you turn off albatross rd onto Braidwood rd and the technology park is about 3km on LHS- Cant miss it, Big Buildings at the back of the runways at albatross. In:

Cheers Teza.January 27, 2011 at 9:09 am #195302Cathi,
I’m in… we may even teach Hatto and few things or two on how to trailride using his feminine side.:woohoo: I’ll have to work out the logistics of getting my bike down there. May have to hire a trailer again.
TB – if you are coming down I’ll make sure there is a bundy and coke cold in the eskie for you…. plus you would love the social side.

January 30, 2011 at 11:01 am #195415Great that there is some interest. I’ve updated the original post with the list of who’s in and who’s a possibility.

January 30, 2011 at 11:07 am #195490Thats my last day of holidays so I reckon I should spend it riding. I’ll see if my brother wants to come too.
