I am thinking about doing this two day enduro riding skills course with the Academy of Off Road Riding on 5th and 6th of March (in Merton, Victoria).

Has anyone done this course? Was it useful?

If you have done the course (or know of a better course) your opinion would be appreciated.

    Cheers, Scott.

Mate I reckon it’s a cracker idea and am toting with doing something myself in the very near future with regards to a part of my riding I want to improve

Look forward to reading your experience

PS if you look somewhere on the site Katgirl has done a school I am sure and loved it

I did a Lynden Heffernan Off Road Academy school through sidetrack in 2000 and then we ran another one through our motorcross club last year. I would recommend them to everyone. Great skills building and courses tailored for trail riders.
We also put our kids through a few motorcross schools and the quality of those varies by heaps. One we put our kids in they were running 450 motorcross bikes around the track with nippers on 50’s. I wont name the school here but they were useless.

    Hi Scott,

My recommendation is………..DO IT. You will learn so much.

I’m currently down at Bateman’s Bay with bunch of girls riding this weekend. We have all done the course and today we kicked the guys arse with our riding skills… only thanks to Heffo.

Gee thanks Kat I must have missed my invite :)
I reckon it would be a great idea, I do think that time on the bike is the best thing you can do to improve your riding. Sometimes I would just like to find a loop and practice and try different things.

    Chris.
