    Hi everyone,
I’ve come across a product alternative to silicon sprays and WD-40 style sprays to protect the bike after washing.
In the old days I used to spray WD over most of the metal parts but nowdays use silicon spray over nearly everything to protect it as well as make cleaning the bike next time heaps easier.
I normally get whatever is on special and have found good silicon sprays, and bad ones.
Well now I’ve thrown them all in the bin as this ACF-50 stuff is the ducks guts. Unlike some silicon sprays this stuff stays on and isn’t gluggy. They use the stuff on airplanes to protect them by the drum loads.
I use it to stop surface rust after washing as well as helping dirt fall off instead of cling on during rides. It’s probably going to be magic for those of you that live near the ocean.
Harley guys use it to protect chrome in the U.S and here too. Theres a link to a video and writeup if interested. I get my cans from the online shop mentioned in the forum link: Click here for link

Anyway, I give it the thumbs up.

$3 tire shine should probably stay on the tires don’t you think rocket? Especially on that white bike you have? :) Hogs are good fun to ride. I know a few owners. Hang out down Bunglegumbie road clubhouse sometimes hahaa.
Silicon spray was always $8-14 for the reasonable stuff.
It’s kinda like the Greater ads: Why would you want good (silicon) when you can have greater (acf-50)?
Some people pay extra for a better product. As far as I’m concerned it is top shelf stuff. I just use it sparingly I guess.
Pleasure, Aido. Watch out of the bogans on there.

We used “mr sheen” when we were preparing cars for motorshows and other special displays…it works well!
