    Hello all,

Just got the entry forms for Uralla pony express on 3rd April. Email won’t go out until Monday as I am just about to leave to go riding for the weekend. Entry forms can be found here http://amcc.asn.au/calenders/index.html for those that can’t wait or are not on the email list.

    See you there.

I have been chewing up brownie points like the is no tomorrow but I will try to get there. The Mrs Does Not like me doing these events so I get little encouragement from her. She would rather I did only Old Bull stuff as she thinks I am more likely to get injured racing. True in a way. This race will be interesting If it is wet or even slightly moist as it has been very dusty every other time.

Just treat your first Iron man like a trail ride and you will make it. Unless you ride fast in rough conditions for 4 plus hours when you are out every other weekend, then you can punch it:woohoo:

Bollocks Aaron is spot on treat it like a trail ride, do that and later in the event you will be amazed how many other iron man you ride past. Watch them all go bull at a gate at the start, crash out or burn out

not sure as yet went allright for 6 laps but last 2 werent that good did you finish ? how many laps did you get in

    #199099

I got a terrible start and spent nearly 2 laps eating dust and roost before finding clean air. I hung in for a few laps before getting a flat front tire at about 1hr 50 min. So I only got about 4 and half laps in. Then I sat out there on that big hill and tried working out where I was running.
