Back from a great weekend with the Yamaha IT forum at Lochmaree. I’m buggered, sore but that doesnt matter it was a ripper weekend!
I took my IT400 and the TY250. The 400 didnt want to start easy, then when it was going it had heaps of grunt, but it was making some expensive noises inside the engine so it was put away for the weekend. I rode the TY all weekend and my knees are sufferening for it. Ok I couldnt keep up with the IT’s on the open trails, but on the downhills and tight stuff it was fun. I should have put the ‘trail’ sprockets in the toolbox.
The owners had changed some of the trails from the last time I was there and they will be reversing some of the main trails in future! All but 1 trail was clear and open, plenty of water in the creeks to make the entry and exit real greasy but doable.
