gooday DIRT BIKE riding groovers.

there once was an idea to host a ride in mexico for my 40th…. :blink:
due to liability issues down here it will no longer be possible, so im advising you all of my birthday party instead. :whistle:

it will be held on the 26th to 28th of August 2011, at Blores Hill caravan park, Heyfield, VICTORIA… in the foothills of the Victorian High Country.

i will ask that all those attending ‘try to’ bring their bike as we might go over some maintenance procedures… :laugh: :laugh:
and if you need smokes or beer, its easy to ride into town;) (its about 8km)

I will be heading out for a few hours on the saturday for a squirt and if i happen to be followed, so be it.

there will be peeps from OBT, Hunter Dirt Riders, AMTRA and DBW attending, as i ride with dudes from all these clubs/forums.

this ride is only opened to people that KNOW me, or are friends with people that do.
i dont want to offend anyone so i will apologise now if i have already have,.
my reasoning is that its a long way to come mexico to find out you dont like…
me,
the accommodation,
the catering,
the weather,
the terrain you might ride on… (snow, rocks, slippery clay goodness, etc)
or the other folks company who will be there.
remember, its not an organised ride, its an organised partyB)

there will be bunk style accommodation. it is $25 a night.
there are beds for 70 plus people.
if you are a mad prick or tight arse and wanna swag it, thats ok. its $12 a night… but it will probably be bitterly cold and not worth the $13 saving :laugh: :laugh:

there will most likely be catering for lunch and dinner saturday in the form of sangas and stuff that we might eat out in the bush if we go bushwalking…or something!!
and a spit roast in the evening.
i might do sunday brunch too, it depends on numbers and costs, which im still working on.
for those arriving friday, the courtesy bus will ferry us to the pub for dinner and back again.

there is a great bakery in town for munchies and also a butcher, pizza shop, chinese shop, supermarket and 3 bottle shops (luckily!) :laugh:

the riding around the area is a level 2-3 or higher if its raining/snowing.
there are some bloody big hills to climb too.
