Hi All,
I’m Al, I’m from Melbourne and will be moving to Tasmania later in the year, I’m an avid
trail rider and have recently got back into it after a year or two off..
Anxiously looking forward to getting to tassie and spending as much time as i can in the bush
as I can.
Recently picked up a 2000 model KTM200exc and have a work in process 1980 model XL250s
which was the first bike i bought with my pocket money when i was 13, that was in 1990..
I flogged it for about 10 years, then it sat in the shed for about 10 years, and now she’s getting
a face lift. I’d like to set her up for some ameture VMX and Any advise as to modifications or advice would be welcomed especially regarding suspension upgrades or easy swap overs from
other models.
Thats me anyway, hope to see you on a trail sometime.

Welcome to the site BV, I don’t know that we have any Tassie members so you may be privileged enough to be the first . I am not much on bike models but the XL250 would be a Honda wouldn’t it? Plenty of Honda advice available around here.

i hate honda’s so im no help there

there isnt much riding in vic happening here at the moment. :whistle:
check out AMTRA, they have heaps of stuff going on all over melbourne
