hay mr technics just wondering what size-rate springs come standard in a 08 ktm 530 there not in my bike at the moment have fat man springs but may be handy if i new what rate they are for other bikes its not in the manual or on your site any help would be apreciated thanks

hi rocket, they are usually set up for 80kg riders, so if you put in 80kg on the teknik site it should give you an idea on spring rate.

but Nik or one of the guys should set us straight though..

Hey Al I’m pretty sure the current 4t springs will be way too firm for the 2t. The original 4t springs however, might be ok. I was going to do the same from 250f to my 300 but it wasn’t to be.

Hey fella’s
I am running the next size up fork springs and shocky spring from the originals
They are 4.6 N/mm and 85/250 respectively
Probably not much help to ya’s
I have the originals packed away in my locker at work
I don’t go back to work to Wednesday, could have a look then.

250 EXC-F
Forks 4.2 N/mm – Shocky 76/250

450-525 EXC
Forks 4.4 N/mm – Shocky 80/250

These are 07 model spring ratings, not sure if they would of changed them in the later models. :huh:
