Day went well
With only the two of us there were not many rests. :blink:
Tim found a new single which we will put in.
Came accross our boss at Eraring (Nichole) out near the push bike tracks, She was doing some orienteering.
Had a chat then she told us not to go the way she had just climbed down as we would’nt be able to get up the rock ledge.
Well that was reason enough to have a go and both Tim and I popped up with no dramas.
Stopped for a chat with a few other riders who were looking for a way to the Gap. Told them the shortest route would be to get up to the ridge and ride the dirt road. But when they followed us to the Queensland Gate Track, they quickly turned around and dissapeared. :ohmy: 👿
Placed a bit of timber at the base and watched Tim pop up with no effort. This meant it was my turn so after one no go (took the wrong line and lost momentum before getting to the step) the next was a goer and suprisingly easy. :sick: Still a good test and will scare the hell out of some of the boys on the day. 👿 :whistle:
We didn’t do the whole ride but as we left home around 9:00am we were at the Gap by 13:30 so we figure if we leave at 8:00am on the day all should be good to fit the Amazon Hill climb in the arvo.
Ya should of been out there as conditions were great. Bit testing and slippery at times but that makes it all the more fun.
