I wanted to start a thread where we could thank our sponsors and sing their praises.
I will start by giving a massive thank you to Sutto’s. Their constant efforts to match OS pricing and OBT deals they give is a credit to them.
I have been dealing with the boys as they fit my Rekluse and their service is 1st class. To have supplied a Rekluse as a prize is an extremely generous gesture.I have also been dealing with Adventure Moto this week as I won two $50 vouchers in the auction. I paid $100 for them  Not only did they supply $200 worth of vouchers they still gave me a deal on the price of my new Spot Tracker.
If you don’t eat Jack Links jerkey you must be a turkey!

Thanks to Sutto’s as has been said as well as Mud n Tar, Whipps, Adveturemoto, Dirtbike Deals (Thanks Chris), Teknik, Whipps, 4BP and of course Jack Links for the best trail snack aroundMay 31, 2011 at 2:43 pm #202282I couldn’t I put it better myself STM. I agree totally and wish to thank all OBT sponsors and any other businesses that donated prizes for the Auction.
Cheers,
LeftyMay 31, 2011 at 2:46 pm #202285Never ate much Jerky but after Sat night I’ll no longer be a turkey! It’s good stuff. Processed in Australia, not Indonesia. 100% awesome.
Very generous of the sponsors. I’ll be flying their flags where I can. Suttos I use regularly and Teknik will be getting intimate with my bike’s bouncy bits soonMay 31, 2011 at 2:56 pm #202286I saw this from Galey on the report thread so I have posted it here too.
Also spoke to a lovely lady at Adventure moto today who took my order for a bright orange Spot Tracker ($219 0n special) and ICE usb card ($10). Perfect colour to match the Kato!
# 1 and 2 on the best sellers list! Maybe after the weekend there has been a rush on:) I told her that TB and the OBT crew gave me the heads up and i think she muttered something that I couldnt pick up:woohoo: This seriously must be the one stop shop for any Adv and Trail rider looking for their adv gear. Well done to the OBT crew for getting them on board as a sponsor and the preso on Sat night showed their commitment to our members.

May 31, 2011 at 3:00 pm #202287Yeah kudos to all.
TB needs a mention here, he was the one that went cap in hand and organised most of the booty for the prizes and auction. Not always an easy task.

June 2, 2011 at 3:53 pm #202283On the birthday ride I bottomed out heavily on a downhill water bar which turned into an uphill landing  My Whipp’s bashplate not only saved my frame but my arse as if I had hooked up I would have gotten thrown. It was then I remembered Tekniks had advised me to get my shock shaft re-chromed as it had corrosion and could tear the seals. While Sutto’s are fitting my Rekluse they have removed the shock and delivered it to Tekniks to have the work done. While all this was going on Adventure Moto were shipping my discounted Spot Tracker. I tell this story as in the space of just a few days four of our site sponsors have helped me out. We are very lucky to have them onboard.

June 2, 2011 at 4:00 pm #202404You only have to have a look at the gouges on my Whipps bash plate on my 650 to see how much money it has saved me in the past. One incedent in particular would have trashed my water pump and right engine case if it wasn’t for the bash plate.
Cant speak highly enough of my Whipps bashplate.June 3, 2011 at 8:29 pm #202405I have just picked up and used the armor all wipes that I was generously given by CM Tools at the birthday bash and they are unreal!! I wasn’t too sure about them at first and have just done my bike and it looks new(apart from the bits that slid down the rocks last weekend!) , now their isn’t a thing in a 5 mile radius of my house that hasn’t been wiped!!!
Thanks CM Tools (chris) !!!June 3, 2011 at 10:06 pm #202284Yep, I used the wipes on the 690 too after the Sunny Corner weekend,,,
ANd they are grouseThanx CM TOOLS (Chris)
