    Hi All
    give me the low down on these things, I have a chance to buy. Is in mint condition 1965 ks and hardly used, I know the guy and he is very fussy/fistidious, what sort of $..

    They are on the net from $8000 to $10000 depending upon K’s.
    I had a 05 450 EXC that I put 9000km before buying the 07 and had one problem where the spark plug lead was shorting to the head intermitantly but that was it, great bikes, change the oil every 500km and adjust valves every 1000km and it will keep going with no problems. Does the spares kit come with it? It should have chain and road riding sprocket set, needle, front SX style number plate and manuals. If it has the standard exhaust check to see if the mod has been done where it de-restricts it, if not do it.

    It comes with the whole package and the guy is maticulous, I’m in the market and finding it very hard to decide which way to go.

    Hey Hatto, I have ridden one and they are very nice to ride, power/torque all that, suspension is great, maybe MOTO can give you some more info, their a few guys with 450exc’s around.

    Hey Hatto :) They are a good bike and have the trusty RFS engine which is proven very reliable. No major issues known.

    Check all the usual stuff realy, if the bloke is known to you and festidious then could be a good buy. They will go for around $7K+. You would have to be stupid or desperate to pay more than $8.5K for it :)

    I’d only get ~$9.5K for my ’08’
