Too much!
My dealer’s price was $9500+on roads. Total $10,350.
Dirt bikes are still expensive – I would never pay the full retail.
You can get a good 650 road bike (V strom, Versys etc) for less than 10K on road, and these bikes both have a hell of a lot more metal than the 450’sDecember 10, 2008 at 3:13 am #104773Hi Guys
I have a modded 300 / 02 and what it is now is nothing like the original
List of mods
02 klx300
Staintune Header
Std Muffler, but plug removed
No air box lid
34 mikuni pumper 45 and 142.5 jets a/f 1 3/4 turns
Crank case breather
Tag fatBars
Barkbusters
Uni filter
Peg extenders
.44 racetech fork springs
13 tooth counter sprocket
kx fork protectors
kx throttle
IMO the best bang for your buck is the pumper carb, I tried the dynajet kit first but the pumper is way better – hands down

AnonymousHow long shall we give him before he’s looking at a 280 kit for the Blur mobile? I reckon he can’t stop playing and earns too much money :p
December 10, 2008 at 4:13 am #114284Looks Nice Hatto, I had mine to the level I wanted it, I had to decide wether to spend money on the suspension or not, I decided not to and got a WR250, loved the KLX but these things happen. Hows the .44 springs working for you.
Cheers

I love tinkering because it’s not computers and the last bit well that is just wrong wrong wrong.
Cheers
