You got the better deal! The previous owner had overtightened a lot of bolts and I was forever getting helicoils put in. Sold it to a bloke in Orange about 8 months later then got the DRZ400 in May 07.
Just thought you might be interested in the story you wouldn’t have known about otherwise!

My Commodore has done 370,000 and Ive had it 10 years, only rarely I have to top up the oil between changes

Think of the money you are saving on petrol.
