As you would all know Sutto’s at Penrith is one of the biggest supporters of Old Bulls, Chris, and his fantastic team are always there helping, supporting our bulk purchase deals, supply prizes and giving a substantial discount to all members.
Well Sutto’s has been broken into again, this is the 2nd time in 3 weeks and they have had 11 bikes stolen in the two break ins. The security they have is first class and the lengths the scum have gone to is beyond comprehension.
We has a biking community can help by keeping an eye out and an ear to the ground, its not hard when you can imagine what it would be like to have your own pride and joy stolen. All the bigger bikes had the CDI’s removed and the scum or the people that buy these bikes will be after one. The bikes stolen are listed below, the 6 digit number is the last 6 of the VIN number.
Mini SX 50 2009 048861
SXF 250 2010 129454
Mini SX 50 2009 048883
690 Enduro R 2009 727390
Mini SX 65 2009 051355
690 Enduro R 2009 727388
Mini SX 65 2009 051369
690 Enduro R 2009 726246
Mini SX 85 2009 047311
1999 FC Husaberg EX Joel Smets race bike
Mini SX 85 2009 047282
They also had heap of helmets stolen
Sutto’s is a family business that has one hell of a family feel when you go in or ring there as a customer please keep your ear to the ground. Should you hear or notice anything, please contact Daniel or Chris on (02) 47311173

September 11, 2009 at 9:22 am #152191Scumbags, they should be simply put to death when found, I have no time in the world for thieves as well as the scum who knowingly support their activities, I will pass it on to the biking community I know of, thats for sure
September 11, 2009 at 9:33 am #152192Doesn’t that just SUCK!!
is the cdi removal a theft deterrent?
where would they offload 3 new 690’s?
the smaller bikes could be sold without attracting too much attention?
do they have any leads TB?
twice in 3 weeks, same thieves?
has anyone else thought of the data dot system?
September 11, 2009 at 9:35 am #152193Would’nt you love to get your hands on these SCUMBAGS!! Hope they get what they deserve.

AnonymousThat is truly the pits – to the scum bags that have commited this crappy act I hope that they suffer the pain that they deserve.
Us as the trail bike community need to keep our eyes and ears open for anything that may sound or look at bit suss and report it to the authorities. There is nothing worse than the pieces of shit that do this type of thing.
There could be the attitude with some people that “oh well thats too bad, but they will have insurance” but in the end it is us that pays for this type of act. Sutto’s will now have to pay higher insurance premiums and this will have to be passed onto us as the customer.
So scum suckers that have ripped off Sutto’s have now ripped us off too.
It’s now even more important for us as Old Bulls to support Sutto’s, considering the amount of support that they have given us.
September 11, 2009 at 11:37 am #152221Ok they’re going overseas with this lot, northcoast KTM had 4 new bikes fraudulently taken 2 years ago by two con-artists, it cost my mate Big Ronnie his half of the business…friggin scumbags, mutherferkers, Amalignnant tumours on aCamels A$$ and that was about a week after both the nephews and a heap of others had late model KTMs all stolen from various homes and sheds around SE Qld, cops reckon it was shipment going out, and they knew where each bike was and hit close to shipping date.
I hate bike thieves and car thieves and thieves in general, need to be reckoned with, but on this scale generally they are hard bustards who do this for a living amongst other things.

September 11, 2009 at 11:47 am #152194that was my 1st thought Bruce.
they’d have to be going to a place that was not going to be checking vin’s etc.
i thought, out the back blocks somewhere. where it’s hours between houses?
some of the islands close by?
can they contact Ktm Aus. to email all the KTM dealers to flag all queries for an 09 cdi unit?
7 bikes at Yallah nsw ( spelling?), 11 from sutto’s, i’m with you Bruce, organised crime for sure.

long shot/ grasping at straws!
September 15, 2009 at 1:20 pm #152195Rsoles,
Dropped my sons bike into the local yami dealer and noticed the new plywood windows, apparently some scumbags rammed the windows out and made of with a few second hand Wr’s, which i think were customer bikes.
And this was very close to the police station, it amazes me what lengths the ……. are willing to go to,rip bikes off.
I wonder what they are using the bikes for?whether its $for drugs or if they are themselves riders?
September 15, 2009 at 10:46 pm #152196Bastards – I hate thieves
Maybe we all to to buy something more from sutto’s to help relieve the pain a little.
Just a thought – get the shops to get your vin numbers when you order something, at least it would create a database and make it harder to buy things for a stolen bike.
Get Mal/Chris to register them on http://www.stolendirtbikes.com.au and remember this site when buying a new ride
cheers Hatto
September 15, 2009 at 10:49 pm #152934Spoke to Mal yesterday at Suttos, said there a 2 major groups doing all this and they are very blazen about it. I’d nearly bet these bikes are being shipped OS.
Chris.

September 15, 2009 at 11:04 pm #152198Would it be worth it to put it onto some of those adventure riding sites – may be more suited to the 690’s
just a thought
cheers Hatto

AnonymousGeez, that sucks hard
I know it’s not the same but I hope the insurance covers their loss and Sutto’s don’t end up too much out of pocket.
