Rach has seen Murph’s ride reports and can assure you she is not that crazy!! . .. I live happily on lower side of the grading scale
Rach,
You know you will want to do it :silly:
:woohoo:April 27, 2013 at 11:07 pm #240490Hey Murph count me in on the ride.
Cheers,
Sam.April 27, 2013 at 11:21 pm #240505Hey Sam
This is not one of our usual hard core rides.
We will have a couple of beginners with us.
It is actually Oldgirls ride and I am just leading
Grading will be 2-3 most of the day.
With a couple of diversions to keep the more experienced from being bored but at times they will be bored.
I will put you on the list but don’t expect too much as last time we went out with Oldgirl it was, how do I say this, SLOW. Sorry OG. Just want inform the other riders that this is a beginners ride.
Cheers
MurphApril 28, 2013 at 10:02 am #240274😆 😆 😆
No offence taken what so ever Murph. That ride WAS slow :blush:Superb learning experience for me though. But if you come along expecting a normal Murph pace….well you’ll be doing a lot of waiting at the corners wont you .
Oh and I sooo don’t expect to be doing gr 2-3 all day thats not fair on you guys. Give me a couple of hours on some tight singles then you blokes (and rach cause you know you will want too rach!) should shoot off and do some hard stuff.
I seriously doubt that my +1 will sweep. If he has to follow me all day there is likely to be a death on the ride. :laugh:I’m a tiny bit faster now I don’t drop the bike every 5mins   As long as we’re doing tracks like the last time I’ll be fine to be at the back.
You’re a brave man taking me again after that first experience though.

I have removed the ? from beside your nameThis will be a bit of a mystery tour as I would like to take Davis and Stu up Amazon (grade 5) and hopefully get Adam to lead the others to the top via open track. We could perhaps return through Bangalow if everyone is moving along OK.
Will PM starting place and times to all that are keen
Is a 9:00am kick off too early? I realise some of you will be travelling some distance.
Cheers
MurphMurph,
This sounds like a plan
Work is looking good i.e. none :woohoo:
9:00am is fine for me as it means I can sleep in
Forecast looks good
Hope you got some of the rain we had here overnight and today
Adam.
May 7, 2013 at 10:59 pm #241395Have had some light showers through the night but not really enough.
We may split the group up a few times through the day but I’ll make sure we all rejoin at certain places.
Instructions will be given to you Adam (pressures on)
I think Tim and CJ are coming along so at least there will be three of us that know the area well. (its kind of our backyard) :woohoo: :woohoo:
Corner man will be used, please acknowledge that you are on the corner by throwing an arm up so the leader can see.Any other grade 2-3 riders keen???
Cheers
MurphMay 7, 2013 at 11:04 pm #240275sorry would of been keen but still injuried  once im up and riding ill be keen
May 7, 2013 at 11:15 pm #240276There will definately have to be a ‘special’ ease into it ride for all you guys in a few months.
So who is going to double me up to amazon?? Better be whoever rides OVER a 400cc anything under wont take the strain
I so want to see you guys try it don’t care if I have to chain the bike to tree and WALK there ….hmmm maybe I should pack my hiking boots.
May 8, 2013 at 12:02 am #241408I wouldn’t mind joining this ride Murph, it could be my last for a while.
May 8, 2013 at 12:42 am #240277welcome jeffro.
Any reason why you wont be riding for a while??
May 8, 2013 at 1:53 am #241412There will be plenty more, Wolfie. Just not in the lower grades.
Welcome Jeffro, your on the list and I will PM you soon.
Cheers
MurphMay 8, 2013 at 3:03 am #240278your fine murph ,once im back riding ill try and get 1 of our local best [ galey ] to get me out and going
May 8, 2013 at 3:52 am #241418Galey is a fine man and i think he enjoys similar riding to Tim and I. So if you can ride Galeys grade 4-5’s then you can do ours, Wolfie.
:woohoo:
Have just returned from taking the fourby out to do some track maintenance.
Fixed a hole that seems to have been ridden by blokes who love trench warfare. :silly::angry:
Anybody wanting to ride our log track Saturday, will be pleased to know that the logs are wet and very slippery and will probably stay that way all winter. 👿
Cheers
