I hope some of you have had the chance to see the latest ADB.
Husky TE250 12 has won the 250cc enduro shootout, not bad when right now we can do one for $9,990 ride away with 12 months reg and 12 months warranty.

Same as that Rocket,,,but only ever owned Jap. Nothing wrong with Jap,but I think that they have droped the ball in the enduro department.

If anyone decides what bike to buy these days based on the cash-for-comment bike magazine articles they need their head examined.

No offense to Rock Motorcycles, I believe the Husqvarnas are great bikes, as are all of the other bikes on the market.

Anyone that has riden any of the 2012 model 250s will more than likely love them.

With the cheap prices offered on Huskys it would be hard to go past if you are in the market for a 250f.

(not that I would ever be in the market for a 250f, they are for pansy boys like STM, Nick, Boony and Snowy :P )

Haha probably true, we all need to do our bit to keep the struggling journos in work lol.

I’m fairly certain that these shoot outs do give some indication of a bikes feel/worth. But I’m also sure that’s not the be all and end all as far as which one anyone should buy, or from who. They must have some bearing on sales though as since the 450 one I’m getting little TE449 enquiry, maybe husky didn’t pay enough for that one lol. It’s a bloody good bike also but one that would feel very different jumping from bike to bike.

It’s just marketing I guess and there’s no way that will stop. Do people buy Hondas cause reedy races one? My experience says the odd one actually does! Same shit different stink.

I flicked through the mag last night and you must be stoked Rory. Husky 250’s on top and that new Honda CRF450R looks like the bike news in MX for 2013.

I was suprised when i flicked through to the winner and there wasn’t a KTM there  . Was getting used to either KTM of Berg getting the prize…………

So reading this thread am I correct in understanding there was no KTM or no CRF? So if that’s the case is it a real reflection of the market and test? And what was there?

I think twobanger is referring to no KTM as the winner not no KTM in the test TB. ;)

Apparently Honda could not prepare a bike in time, the same thing happened with the 450x for that shootout.

Gas Gas had no bikes in the country
