Looking at selling my XR purely because I just don’t ride it
.
It’s a 1996 model that I’v had for around 2 years and probably only done 1500k’s on it mostly on the road to Noosa beach and back home.
The bike needed minor things doing when I got it, it has a real sweet motor that needs nothing doing to it.
This is a list of new parts that I’v put on it:-
Front & rear wheel bearings
Steering head bearings
New fork seals & oil
New fork covers
Renthal bars and recent clutch lever & perch
CRF headlight & surround
Ballards XR tank stickers
New seat cover
Air Filter
Chain & sprockets
Ballards choke butterfly
Re-wound stator
New front & rear brake pads
New clutch cable
Full Staintune Exhaust
New kickstart knuckle
6 months rego
Tyres are about 50%
Will post some photos soon, looking for around $2950
That is a great buy……….wish I was more cashed up, as I would like to have it in my shed.
Worth every cent.
