so the bike is finally run in. time to go for a real ride. the plan was to go down the beach to lake Cathie then an easy ride through queens lake as I was going alone this did not go to plan.
so im flying down the beach I just miss the exit pulled up hooked to the right into the soft stuff and over I go this was probably the best way to drop the bike for the 1st time on a cushion of soft sand. so I entre queens lake the normal way strucky sideburns and myself go. on my way through there I thought fuck it im going the big hill on the back of jolly nose.
its a lot steeper in real life
at the bottem I was thinking no way it just looked like shit rocky slippery and not something I should do alone but I have to test this new bike out I got about 2/3 up it and lost it
picked the bike up to have another go lol
so I dropped it 2 times in the 1st 10 minuets of riding I had 1 more go at this hill stalled it I turned around and came down this hill is a big challenge it will be something I have a crack at every time im near it till I get it. its so much worse then the photo’s
not long after I find another hill. to steep and have to turn around
a single trail I was on
got to the lake
then off to the top of jolly nose
this bike is unreal its handles and has unbelievable power the only things I could pick on at the moment is it is geared to high thought it comes this the lower gear sprocket I will be fitting them next weekend and the bike is very light in the rear this is something ill get used to and love other than that I could not ask for any more in a motor bike well done Yamaha.
