That sux, I mean having to pay to get your own bikes back  Yes Jimmy we should start cutting off hands I 100% believe we would see a massive reduction in theft. Trouble is the do gooders won’t let us deal with these pricks because it isn’t the pricks fault they will tell you  Seems the poor pricks mother didn’t breast feed him, or she feed him more from the left not the right. His father left home or whatever it’s never these #%$&: fault it is always societies fault

Not sure that is the correct approach for a civilised society, as then we would have to support them as disabled thieves whom cannot persue their chosen profession.

I have another idea and have had for a while, they MUST be forced to take a job or go to gaol, and the wages from the job would be garnished to repay the value of their crimes, but the money goes to victims of crime fund which has already paid the victim.

2 fold whammy, they learn the value of a dollar, and they MAY end up having an ethic

Bruce they already have that system it doesn’t work, they don’t turn up for they work, it bogs down in the legal system. Maybe when we cut their hand off we cut their benefits off also. Once we do it do a few or a few hundred the message will get across. Fuck them!

sorry for the loss of your pride and joy . i agree with about cutn there hand off but i would cut the main hand off, if they right handed cut the right off if they left handed cut there left and off and make it hard, and then brand them with a big t for thief on there for head so the public knows what they are

doesn’t work in the middle east either, forces them into more criminal activities, ok, forced labour then in a gaol system, got some roads that need repairs, bridges to build, parks to clean, numberplates that need stamping…..

yes having a bike stolen is bad, like many of us I have been a victim, leaving me with monthly payments at 16 on a bike that I didn’t even get to ride…. it leaves a sour taste, and is very emotional….. but is cutting hands off commiserate with the crime, it has been shown that even the death penalty doesn’t deter, neither does the three strikes laws, these types of people are generally not thinkers and it doesn’t enter their heads before or during the crime, so another approach. And no I am not soft, just someone who thinks about the entire issue not just the retribution

Well Bruce I dont know then. BTW I have had a CR500 and a XR600 stolen over the years, neither insured and both had payments owing that I paid, one for two years. For the record more people on the thread thought cutting the hands off was an option then not  I know that doesnt make it a good idea maybe just we have had enough and are willing to try anything rather than nothing
I have nothing, but am sick of waiting for karma to do its job if ya catch my drift  The do gooders to more harm then good I am conviced. Thats just me but the legal system doesnt seem to do the right thing, to many easy sentences. I will just leave it then to people smarter then me to fix it then I guess :)

were is the justice when u catch the crim. i had my shed broken into twice when i lived in dubbo and the police said they couldnt do much unless they r caught in the act or some body can wittnes it happening but most people dont want to get invovled incase they come after them was the words from the cops so i left the dogs out and guess what ,the little shit come back and the dogs bailed him and i was warned about that [dangerous dogs ] as i didnt have a sign on my gate sayn guard dog on duty he was release and got a warning only because he didnt take any thing of our property. 4 weeks later our neighbour was done over and i got done over a week later but the dogs got him again but this time i got him on video survalance so i called the police told then and they would be over straight away , an hr later 2 more calls i was still waiting so i had enough and locked the kid in my dog cage on the ute and took him to the police station told them i had him outside .as soon as they saw him they laughed but took me aside and told me if the kid knows the law he could have me charged for kid napping and unlawfull imprisonment. he got 60 hrs commutiy service so were is the justice
