Currently have 3 bikes in the shed but now only 2 riders in the house so this is surplus to our needs. Giving Old Bull members and members of another forum first dibs on the bike before trying Bikesales and Ebay
Great bike for a teenager or for the shorter missus with the bonus that it is ADR compliant and can be registered. Only some of the 2003 and 2004 models were released with ADR Compliance so it is very rare that they are advertised for sale. Seat height is only 805mm. It weighs 90kg oiled and fueled up. Would make someone a nice Xmas pressyBike is a 2003 Yamaha TTR125 LWE (electric start) purchased and rego’d in NSW on 19/2/2004, Bought it for my wife and then 14y/o daughter to ride but soon got sick of them fighting over it and bought a XR200 for the daughter. Initially my wife was gonna get her Licence but never did so ofter 2 years i didnt renew the rego and handed the plates back in. Bought the bike new for $6450 onroad and it now has 5-600km on the speedo but the drive tab for the speedo has become disengaged on its own a few times (flimsy design) so in reallity it probably has about 1200km on it.
The photos i am attatching later were taken in Feb 2008 and since then it has only been ridden on two weekends. Has the standard scuffs and scratches from a learner but bike has never been jumped at all and the fastest it has travelled is about 65-70kmh when i rode it home from the shop when new.
My asking price is $3600. Bike is located in Lithgow NSW has always been garaged and not left outside except for camping weekends. Has never been closer to the coast and salt air or water than here in Lithgow. Manual and spare filter also included. Only thing the bike needs to be re regod is a blue slip + one of the blinkers has no guts in it as i pinched it to fix a broken one on my WR250F when i was selling it and forgot to replace it
My wife pictured is 5’4″ and now finds the bike a bit small and prefers to ride the XR200 on the rare occasions that she rides although i sometimes have to kickstart it for her. Basically the bike is just sitting in the garage and not being used which is why i am selling it.
