Only 7 or 8 weeks away its time to organise the first annual Old Bull Christmas Party
Firstly these are all ideas only at this stageWe have some prizes for the Christmas party but we need things to give the prizes out for
in no order at all are the ideas that Chris and myself have liked at the stage– Quickest rear wheel removal, tyre removal and refit with no outside help, doesnt have to be pumped up – Prize a Tool roll
– Dash for cash (or whatever) in FULL riding gear over say 50 meters – Bike shop donated prize
– longest front wheel skid without feet off pegs or falling off – Bike shop donated prize
– Best get of during the weekend – Prize a Tool roll
– Best fancy Dress get up for Saturdays afternoon loop – ??
– Most unhygienic person of the weekend – donated Colgate Palmolive pack Value about $70
We still have a Toolbox that needs to be given away and some other prizes that need a contest.
The party will be bring your own food etc, we did think about organising that but we will go back to bring your own.
Mac is bringing his spit trailer and the meat for saturday nite as far as I know that is so worth the wait.
I will be bringing a 5kv genset and lighting towers for the camp area and any other power needs
The weekend will start at 8pm on the friday night with a nite ride throught the single line near the pines camping area and I hope will be about 20kms long
Two loops on saturday, prize presentation saturday for most of the prizes, 60km to 80km loop sunday moring
Chopper will be along all weekend as our camera man at points throughout the tracks as he is still not able to ride
A detailed map with directions will follow soon
So come on ideas for give aways or any ideas at all for the weekend
TB & Chris

A great idea if you can be bothered, I’ll just drink beer because I’m a lazy ham fisted caaarnt!– Dash for cash (or whatever) in FULL riding gear over say 50 meters – Bike shop donated prize
Not bad, short is easy. I can see almost everyone having a crack at this then giving the prize to Gili, little whippit!– longest front wheel skid without feet off pegs or falling off – Bike shop donated prize
Good one, I’ll have a crack at that……whilst drinking beer.– Best get of during the weekend – Prize a Tool roll
Just give me the prize now– Best fancy Dress get up for Saturdays afternoon loop – ??
Mankini?– Most unhygienic person of the weekend – donated Colgate Palmolive pack Value about $70
Ummm….okay…..I don’t know what to say except I’ll be offended if I win this one!We still have a Toolbox that needs to be given away and some other prizes that need a contest.
I’ll try and think of something to help you here. Since you and Chris run the show it can’t go to you, so maybe a committed member who has done a lot for the club? Kind of a managers award of the year sort of thing. You can give it to Mick after a few beers with some nice words and see if we can make him cry?The party will be bring your own food etc, we did think about organising that but we will go back to bring your own.
Sweet, I’m happy with that.Mac is bringing his spit trailer and the meat for saturday nite as far as I know that is so worth the wait.
Mac – You’re a star!I will be bringing a 5kv genset and lighting towers for the camp area and any other power needs
Nice, it will help prevent me pissing on my shoes….for a short while anyway….The weekend will start at 8pm on the friday night with a nite ride throught the single line near the pines camping area and I hope will be about 20kms long
I have no light, this will be fun, could contibute to me winning the best ‘get-off’ of the weekend. Two loops on saturday, prize presentation saturday for most of the prizes, 60km to 80km loop sunday moring
Sounds like a plan.Chopper will be along all weekend as our camera man at points throughout the tracks as he is still not able to ride
Maybe he should get the toolbox?A detailed map with directions will follow soon
Sweet. How long does it take?So come on ideas for give aways or any ideas at all for the weekend
Make sure you bring enough beer, I won’t sell you mine :pTB & Chris

AnonymousKarma for your patience and to probably calm you down
Seriously, If I think of any better ideas than the ones you suggested I’ll chip in and let you know. I was serious about the Toolbox one though. Maybe you Mick should surprise someone with it? It doesn’t have to be won in a competition…..

What’s that? Is it the spacer between the tyre and front mudgaurd that you use when transporting the bikes to stop the suspension compressing? If so I’ll buy one off you, I was about to buy one anyhow.
Sounds like yoy’ve been working hard though:laugh:
