    Hi Nick,
    I bought my young fella an 09 YZ125 earlier this year and it appears to have a worn gear selector shaft.
    Do I need to split the cases to replace it or can I just remove the clutch cover and clutch and replace it that way?

    You dont even have to pull the motor out of the bike. Just pull the clutch side cover, remove the clutch basket and pull the old shift shaft out and slide the new one in. 15 minute job B)
