    I actually haven`t got a favourite 2009 ride at all !!

Hill End, Caves to Caves, Nundle, Louee, Wisemans & back, Watagans, Teralba to nowhere & back plus heaps of local runs with the Newy Crew NOT TO FORGET the MurphsBerg one I did

Every one of the rides I have done have been AWSOME, both the riding, scenery, action & last but not least,,,,, The OBT SPIRIT ;)

Cheers All for a great year & here`s to an even better 2010 :cheer:

Must add that whilst cleaning the Super Commuter this arvo, I noticed that I have clocked up somewhere in the vicinity of 8000ks in 2009 so far!!! Yes, a lot of that was on the bitumen commuting to & from Work and a couple of quick runs home from OBT rides :P :P Shut up TB, I said it first ;)

The ride that really stands out this year would be the XR’s Only ride TB,Moose and myself did.
Bago, Cowarra,Jolly nose,Lake Cathie straights on the tar.to Port Macquarie for fuel. Then Plommer road to Cresent Head for lunch. Hat head beach sand dunes, into Kempsey after seeing TB pull the best wheelie I have seen for many a year. From Kempsey Via a rough road in close proximity to what appeared to be a railway line of some sort to Kundabung, thence through Cooperabung range to Rollands Plains and riderX’s house back to Wauchope. 200+
    XR friendly Kilometers.

You know I had forgotten about that ride, it was a ripper wasn’t it, matter of fact I may grab Dan and come up early one morning do that loop and go home.

I also reckon as we went to the falls etc on the Friday ride for your birthday that would be a ripper loop for the Friday including lunch at Crescent head Taven. It is a good loop with everything including the beach run the rough track from Kempsey etc lets do that on the Friday??

You’ve won me. That and more can be the Friday ride. :woohoo: If we can sort it, we can cut Kempsey out and head bush near Kram’s, back into Maria State forest.
Got me thinking now…but that will be for a different thread.

Im sitting about 50 metres from the edge of Maria state forest as I type this B)

I will be taking Kram for a tour around the backyard tomorrow so he should be able to learn some new tracks B) ;)

Well after much thought for a day or three I have decided that the best ride I did in 2009 was the Hillend Orange pre run with Dan. Ride Report Here

On the day we just motored left early, no crap, no stops rode our bikes because that why we have them, we just chatted while we rode with the bluetooths, we did singles, twins, some dirt, two big creek crossings, tight pines, awesome pub lunch, rock section from hell, took a fantastic photo that I have had blown up to mount in the house. Yeah my favourite followed closely by the Biggest weekend, Micks weekend, oh so many great rides.

One things for sure I didnt have a bad ride all year

I think my pick is the Coonabarabran Pony Express with Rocket, Bolls, Cycletune and Boony as pit biartch! Great day and nice to meet some top blokes! :P

I really enjoyed the Hill End ride too, what a corker! :woohoo:

I also rate the DBW9 weekend at Catombal with Rocket, JRD, my brother and several (hundred) others!

Sadly I didn’t get to ride all that much in 2009, but 2010 is still young and the bike is set to go… B)
